Radiation and decomposing - Skinwalker ranch

Listening to Area 52 podcast with Ben Woodruff right now and a few interesting things popped into my mind. This might be something that's said already, but hear me out. They've seen animals not decompose for up to 3 years on the ranch, mainly small animals. They've seen that they do decompose when in water.

A lot of things happening around there are tied to radiation.

What's interesting is that water protects from radiation. The twist here is that it would imply that the radiation (which might be a side-effect od some other procedure we don't understand or perceive) somehow protects carcasses from decomposing.

Also, there's a lot of talk of cellphones not working, glitching, failing to charge - all show up as radiation exposure effects.

Tie this down with uap being very interested in all things nuclear... And we might just be interfering \*hard\* with a layer of reality that is very dependent on something tied to radiation.

A few things I wonder.

A couple things I wonder

I'm only on Season 5, but I have been thinking:

  1. Do they think to do offerings before they start digging into the ground? Like to make the ancestors happy, do an offering, or a ritual for permission/to show they mean no harm?

And

  1. Why not just blow small areas alongside the masa?

As it was long ago, native land, maybe they should do offerings and let them know they mean no harm, and maybe they wouldn't have the issues they have and can maybe finally get what's in the masa.

Boreholes, Bubble Boundaries, and the Blob

I love this team so much. I posted the "Boreholes." meme with Travis a month ago. The way they bombard each other with all these B words cracks me up. Still my favorite show on tv ❤️

I’m convinced ~80% of every episode is rehashed footage and recaps.

And the roughly 20% new footage is just them shooting new rockets and not sticking cameras down 4 foot holes. This season in particular is a turd.

Eric’s technical background

I am curious as to Eric’s technical background. I know he is the PI of the research team but I don’t recall the show ever mentioning his background. engineer, technical scientist, medical? Also, how did Brandon select him as the research lead. Does Eric have a Mormon background with Brandon, like Dragon does.

Inquiring minds want to know

Last night’s episode

Two observations/questions about the simultaneous launches: 1) where were the lights/orbs associated with the diverted rockets in past episodes? 2) are these rocket images also distorted (not just veering off/bumped in mid air)? Example of camera glitch/distorted footage in season one: https://www.reddit.com/r/skinwalkerranch/s/e4wAApgaNx

What Happened to the Satellite?

Are we seeing rockets launched ad nauseam to fill screen time, since it appears the satellite isn't happening this season after all?

S7E7 - "High Voltage" - basically a compilation of past seasons

We're getting to the point of compilations from previous seasons/episodes. When blind frog ranch is outdoing you on creativeness, there's a problem.

I need a millionaire friend...

...who will fund my hobbies like Fugal funds Travis's love of rockets. Because I swear this whole "investigation" is just a way for Travis to play with all the rockets his heart could want while Fugal signs the checks.

Possibility To Ask SWR Team A Question, OR Suggest An Experiment!

Hi guys. I have a question for you all.

I'm an "insider" and would like to ask you...

If you could ask the team anything or suggest any experiment, what would it be?

I can go on the website and ask on behalf of you Reddit users, and come back here with the responses if I get any! I paid for an insiders subscription on the SWR website. But I'm not really certain what to ask myself.

Thanks!
- Riley

*EDIT*

Thank you so very much for all these thought-out responses! I loved reading all of them. I've seen every episode of the show and have been following ranch happenings since childhood, and that's long before there even was a show. I'm sure many of you have as well. I'm glad we have this Reddit to discuss one of the most interesting places in the world. I lived in a place with incredibly similar happenings called Mount Desert Island in Maine, all our neighbors saw and had strange things happen to them as well. And it all seemed centered in the open fields and granite quarries around the island. Lots of magnetic disturbances there, too.

So I really hope they figure out the "mystery," and I'm sure your responses can help! It's more than I ever could have come up with myself. I'll come back with any answers I get from the SW Team, and I cannot promise I'll get any responses at all, but I'll credit everyone whose question I have asked.

Thanks again!

What is the consensus on the veracity of the events on the show?

I generally believe that they aren't fabricating anything and that they are experiencing what we might call "high strangeness". I know the production company reportedly asks the cast to say things in a certain way ect which I feel is acceptable.
I'm wondering to what extent, if at all, are events with mundane explanations elevated to mysteriousness. For example, is what they are detecting in the mesa actually surprising and truly as unexplainable as it appears?

Also, I wish the producers would edit the show s little better. They often overlook or edit out details that should be explained better. For example, they were looking at ceramics that they had found. They were using a blackout box to shine ultraviolet light and show that the recovered material fluoresces. They also had another object in the box which they didn't mention. Leaving the viewer to jump to conclusions. Turned out it was just a piece of mundane ceramic to act as a control- but they left that important detail out even though I'm sure the people on camera mentioned it's purpose for being there.

I wish this production was done more liberally. It feels like the presentation of the work being done is too limited by the format they are trying to fit it into. I feel it would be better suited to a platform like YouTube than a standard "network".

Have they ever actually played what's coming over the 1.2/1.6 GHz channels?

They get these signals all the time, but only show the frequency/power spectrum - have they ever actually played them to see what they sound like? Just white noise? Or is there temporal structure (autocorrelation, multi-scale sample entropy, for ex) that might indicate structured content?

Anybody notice how Pete the Lidar guy is always posing and looking way over the top? Now he is standing in a group of guys talking about a bore hole and ol Petes wearing a fancy aeronautical helmet long after flight is over! LMAO! Anybody else notice this stuff?

His wardrobe evolution has been drastic from his first couple seasons to last couple seasons. He has gone from LS polo shirt or T shirt and baseball hat or straw hat to "tactical kool guy" boonie caps & shemaghs with tactical style button ups and pants. Its been argued that he wears this stuff as he must have had melanoma or UV skin issues but that doesn't explain the STYLE change being so instant and dramatic. Very forced and obviously trying to look some sort of way.

The latest hilarious and obvious "look at how kool i look" scene is after flying the top of the Mesa in late model black helicopter with Lidar attached. Long after they are done in the helicopter, Pete the lidar/drone guy is standing over the top of the latest bore hole with the group of guys including the drill team and PETE IS STILL WEARING THE FANCY AERONAUTICAL FLIGHT HELMET! LMAO! 7 or 8 guys standing there looking down a bore hole talking about what they DIDNT FIND, again, and ol Pete looking waaaay out of place with this big fancy flight helmet on his head with his hands in his hips trying to look some sort of way! He achieved it for sure, he sure did look some sort of way but dont think we saw it like he saw it in his head! Lol! The pilot himself doesn't even have the helmet on any longer as the scene has nothing to do with the helicopter...at all and they are nowhere near the helicopter and the helicopter isn't running or getting ready to go, just him standing there hands on hips with this fancy flight helmet on! Hilarious!

More work from my hobby projects.

I've got the stream part gated, so no one can access the live cam overlays, as it's not my place to offer... but https://twin.parapsychlab.io is mostly up to explore if anyone is interested. Just know that it's all work in progress (WIP) and subject to EXTREME changes on a whim. Still, it's data.
