Foam Recommendations

My bed is roughly 8 years old. It has a "smart bed" adjustable frame that works fine and the bed still inflates, but it's just not comfortable anymore. From what I'm reading, this is fairly common and the fix is to replace the foam that is between the airbags and cover. I removed the cover and measured the foam and am ready to order from a third party rather than pay the $500-ish that I'm hearing Sleep Number charges. My question is if anyone has recommendations on a specific foam that won't break down after a year. I hear Memory Foam will stop springing back fairly quickly but I have no actual experience and don't know if they've improved memory foam since I heard that. What's in there now is a sort of egg-crate foam, which is 2 1/2" thick at the "points" and 1" thick in the valleys.

I see a ton of options on Amazon and I've heard Home Depot is another option. I just don't want to get something that's going to be flat and have me sleeping in a hole in six months. Anyone have a tried and true option?

My second sleep number is terrible

I'm on my second Sleep Number bed. The first one was a Queen and I never had a problem. I replaced the queen with a king when I moved and I'm very unhappy. The biggest problem is I feel like I'm camping and sleeping on a hill. Always trying to keep my body from rolling downhill. I hate it. Could I have gotten a bad Covid mattress. 35 is my number and I've loved it forever. It keeps my back HAPPY, if you know what I mean.

Can the bladders get squishier over time?

I love my sleep number bed I8, but I have gone from a 35 preferred firmness setting to a 100 firmness setting. Has anyone experienced this? Luckily at this point it's just barely firm enough for my comfort so I'm not struggling with it, but I used to be able to stand on it at a hundred and it would feel like a very firm almost hard cushion. Now if I stand on it I sink way WAY in, and when I get up in the morning and flip my legs over, I'm sunken really far into the mattress.

Do I need to find a new bladders?

Adding second smart bed to an existing account and app

I have an i8 360 split top king since 2020 with an adjustable base. I recently bought a new i8 queen smart bed in a different location and now my old king has been removed from my account and won’t pair to my phone. I now can’t operate my i8 split king. Has anyone else been successful adding a second bed to their account and sleep number app?

Bed Exit Light Random

Does anyone know what triggers the under-bed light that comes on when one gets up in the middle of the night? Lately it has been randomly coming on when I don’t leave the bed, not always coming on when I do.
