r/snowpatrol

This is a pretty unpopular sentiment but I’m absolutely obsessed with snow patrols first two albums (songs for polarbears and when it’s all over we still have to clear up). I don’t think they’re groundbreaking or anything, but the sound…. Omg. The yearning, the desperation, the melodies… I think they’re so amazing!! They fuel all my artistic energy and if I ever created a show I would drown that shit out in their first 3 albums (because Final Straw is also great).

I’m not into their new music at all unfortunately, but I was wondering if anyone else enjoyed their old music because I have such an affinity for it.

Hi, has anyone noticed strange SP instagram posts during the last few days?

I got a notification that SP posted on instagram, then I click on it and then it shows a post that was apparently posted a few hours ago with comparatively very few likes and only a handful of comments...

When I go on the SP insta account the posts are not shown on the grid

Neither the one from 5 days ago, nor the one from today

They are also quite odd posts that seem out of place

29 seconds of one of the acoustic 20 years Eyes Open anniversary shows from 5 days ago:

And then today asking which songs we want to be added on the setlist? With only 4 acoustic shows coming up that were moved from October 2026 to February 2027:

"Our biggest setlist requests: Open your eyes, Run and Chasing Cars"

they play those at every gig anyway?

What is happening?

Have they been hacked? Or might those be oddly scheduled posts? But why are they not shown on the insta grid then?

This is the subreddit’s buying/selling megathread for tickets for the rescheduled 2026 October shows. Any other posts for buying/selling will be redirected here.

Please post a comment here detailing what you are seeking/selling by including the following information: the date/location of the show; where the tickets are located, if not General Admission (GA); the price of the tickets (if selling)/the budget (if seeking). Tickets being sold must have a clear, reasonable price.

For purchasers: Please exercise caution and consider any red flags when purchasing:

• if it sounds too good to be true…
• if the Reddit profile is new without any prior history…
• if they are willing to sell lower than retail…
• if they are pressuring you to purchase now rather than allowing you time to think it over… ALL are red flags. Please be careful with your hard earned money.
• It is recommended to use Paypal Goods&Services. Moderators are not responsible for any losses.

Good luck and enjoy your shows!
