Has anyone worked out how the points for each word (main ones, not the bonus ones) are scored? All I can see is it's not linear.
4 letters seems to be 5 points
5 letters seems to be 8 points
6 is 12 points.
But maybe different words of the same length give different points?
Not for any scoreboard reasons, I'm just interested.
So how many discovered today that they can't spell anemone? Be honest!
I could swear that “abyssal” is a normal word and has been counted before in the word list

Kudos to IActuallyCare for creating a 5x5 puzzle without a single four letter word. I don't think it's the first time it's been done but it's still quite the achievement.
My final word was reverers, not a word I would think of as common, but my question is why wouldn’t reverer be included?
