Didn't this track used to be a connect depot?

I remember being infuriated at this tunnel exit because I would always arrive to Benton late on my way to now central

Hot take: millcastle racecourse’s unused platform should make made to look abandoned in 2.4

I feel like that platform is just completely useless and I feel like it would look cool if they added some old bushes/ weeds growing on the platform and the tracks and sleepers would be made to look old by removing rail grinding and making the tracks bumpy and old at points. I also hope they add maybe like an abandoned stepford connect mk3 or something to replace where the 68 is sat.

Day 27 of posting a fact about SCR stations till 2.4 releases

Today with Caranela Bridge.

This station is one of two Stepford Connect stations without a route calling at Stepford Central, the other one being Millcastle Racecourse. Prior to Version 2.3 and the introduction of R106, this distinction applied to all station on the Rayleigh Bay Branch. Carnalea Bridge is the only station on Stepford Connect to not have any routes to the former Stepford City Zone.

What station should I do next? Thx for reading :)

SCR Safechat?

Ok hear me out, this sounds dumb but just hear me out.

So we all know that Roblox is adding back the old canned chat, or "quick words" as they call it now.

Roblox says that developers can add their own Safechat into the game to make the words related to the game. Brookhaven and other games have done this.

SCR having Safechat could work, for example we could do something like in among us where we can build our own messages through Safechat. There could be options for dispatchers like "Safe Trip, __!" Or ones for signallers like "****__, please wait for the signal."

hot take: we should abolish the term "noob train" and also start treating noobs with more kindness

People intentionally spadding or not dispatching "noob trains" is SEVERELY immature and also makes no sense. For me personally, I would rather spend my points on routes and see more of the world and spend them on highly expensive trains. Not everyone driving a new train is a noob, and even if they are we should still treat them like we would any other expensive train. Do we want people to join the community or not, people? Let's be nice to newer players.

Remember when Coxly layout looks like this?

I've been playing SCR since 2020, and I remember when the Coxly station looks like in the image above. The siding has a curve before entering platform 1, and I remember when the station is litteraly sub-surface. Though not sure if this is true as the last time I stop at Coxly is around early-2021 before occasionaly play the game just to do R025 until 2025.

Day 26 of posting a fact about SCR stations till 2.4 releases

Today with Angel Pass.

With the upgrade in V1.10.4, the original secondary entrance was kept, which is boarded and has two signs that reads "This entrance is now closed, please use the new entrance to your left for access to Angel Pass station. Thank you." There is also a rusted station sign in the bushes next to it.

Here's my idea for a new operator called Mountaineer, using a green color scheme

Since green is really the only main color unused by any operators currently in SCR, I thought to make a new green schemed operator. The mountaineer would have lines to the Gallaway Forest, Cherimoya Bay, and cog trains up Helvellyn Mountain and Scaffel Pike. Thorndike Junction would serve as a large junction allowing transfers to the cog trains running up the two mountains, along with regular heavy rail trains going to Greenfield and Cherimoya Bay. I couldn't really think of an existing station to connect this to, so let me know if you have any ideas or if you think this would be interesting in game.

Edit: Also an express branch could run from the mainline to Thorndike Junction, maybe stopping at Forest Hills along the way

Connect and Waterline Extension Idea

The western end of these extensions would branch off of the current Waterline (WL) tracks south of Morganstown Docks and roughly follow the path traced in the second image. After the second unnamed station, a Waterline-only branch would continue south and serve 3-4 new stations, while a longer branch partially shared by Connect (CN) and WL would turn east, cross the River Ben, and also have 4 stations (maybe more or fewer depending on the actual in-game distance) before linking up with an upgraded Leighton West. Waterline trains would terminate at Hargate Central while Connect trains continue towards the Leighton Zone.

2 additional tracks for WL might have to be added to the west of the current ones at Morganstown Docks if running 4 different operators (CN, MT, EXP, WL) through that station puts too much strain on the current 2-track layout.

I was too lazy to come up with names for the 6 unnamed stations, so feel free to share some name suggestions for them here.
