I am an LPN looking to upgrade to get my RN license, as that has always been the goal. I am working to have the required 1800 hours completed and I have a 91% average under my belt from graduating the PN program. I was looking at the program at St. FX and interested in the distance learning, so I can continue to work and make a living while studying.

If anyone has completed this program - specifically with the online distance learning - I would love to hear from you about your experience.

How long did it take in total to complete?
How often did you have to attend in person labs/classes?
Is there any benefit to taking any science courses online through St FX while I wait to apply? Would the credits possibly be transferable and therefore shorten the length of the program, or does everyone graduate together?
Is there anything else that may benefit me to know prior to applying in regard to the school, the program, the courses, etc ?
