Anyone who has raced with AMA Supermoto in the past decade or so, knows what a shit show that organization can be. That’s changing, SMEC Supermoto has partnered with the AMA to bring a NEW national series starting this year. It’s a little fuzzy on the details, but as far as I know SMEC is still operating under their old name, but things are expected to change soon.

I just wanted to get the word out to anyone who hasn’t been racing with AMA because of past experiences that it’s a whole new team now. The first round is this weekend May 22/23 at VIR.

I’m sure more details will come out soon, but check out racesmec.com for dates and stuff.

Converted an old 300xcw from scratch as my first bike and thought I fell in love. Finally got a 690 and fell in love again. After 3300 street miles over the last 9 months the 300 will now fulfill track duties.

Im highkey considering switching to 2 stroke. I love my 2023 exc 500 sixdays, but i’m all for the 2 stroke craziness

When I was 15, I really wanted an SM 125 and now I have the larger version. She is so incredibly fast. Of course, I've already installed small mirrors.

As per title, similar situation to a recent post by u/Reality_Breakdown. 2005 510 SMR. Sold it right after a rebuild too, far below cost. Looking back now, wishing I hadn't.

Hi, this is my bike. Over the past few weeks I've noticed that whenever it's in gear with the clutch lever pressed (mostly when slowing down or downshifting) it constantly dies.
Runs fine and the clutch seems to work just fine when taking off. Also, when the engine is not working and I put it in gear and try to roll it off (with the clutch pressed ofc) it acts as if I'm not pressing it....
Hope the clutch is not doomed because I don't have money for a new clutch kit...
And to mention: I haven't done the gearbox oil change since I got it (2 months since I got it). I was gonna change it tomorrow hoping it would fix it..
