Re-strapping Go+ Power Pack - Any Guides?

I am occasionally a smart man, but smart people do stupid things, and one thing I did not do before trying to replace the broken strap on my Swytch Go+ Power Pack was record how the old straps were … uh… strapped in there.

Swytch quickly sent me replacement straps, but once I removed the broken strap from my battery it was like… “why does there suddenly seem to be too many straps and not enough loops for them?” “why does this strap look like it is using the loop I need the replacement to go through?” “where did this little strap come from?”

I think I’ll manage in the end, but is there a visual guide to replace straps on the power pack? Or can a kind redditor send me a picture of the straps through the loops on their Go+ Battery? Images I saw online were not helpful or too dark.

Swytch on a Brompton

Good morning. A friend's bought an audio Brompton electrified by a Swytch kit. In general she's very happy with it, but she says it doesn't give enough power when she's going up a steep hill.

As far as I can gather, the 5 levels of pedal assist work on flat roads, but on steep hills, only full throttle with no pedalling works.

Is this normal?

Max++ New costumer: Experience after some uses

Hi, so even I was scared initially as online reviews were constantly complaining about months of delays in delivery... I bought the max++ kit on June and it arrived... on June.

I have been making small tests and honestly this is the first time I'm making a review of a product. This thing works! I also added the challenge that I live in the top of a hill so non-electrical bikes struggle going up... and after a couple of uses I feel the swytch works.

The only thing I don't like is that there is no proper way of knowing the battery percentage to charge it. I also use it 2 days in my daily route and I notice that the battery doesn't last too much as I expected (2 dots in the battery leds... i'd say routes were 20 km at most, but ofc the hill force me to use lvl 5)

maybe Swytch bike will survive after all...

I live in NYC. I pre-Ordered 2 kits for our Bromptons in May of 2025. Received delivery Sept 2025. Two months later than expected...

However I've been having a blast with it . My 73 year old legs love it. Its brilliant IMO... But I've been concerned Swytch would be going out of business due to its poor customer service and all the deserved negative posts. So when the OLED controller was finally "back in stock" I was hopeful, took a chance and ordered one to find if indeed the reorganization improves things. I ordered a new controller August 4 2026 and received it, August 9 2026. I was sent tracking info the same day with updates till it arrived. So I'm a happy camper!

FYI The increased performance of the OLED controller is huge. It enabled me to increase the top speed to 20 mph from 15 mph the stock controller allowed. That extra boost makes a huge difference making pedalling much easier. I wasnt expecting the performance boost! I then ordered one for my wife on August 12th. The tracking initially promised delivery by August 18th. It was delivered August 15th. Maybe Swytch has survived after all!

Swytch apologises to customers & seeks to prove turnaround in new statement

Cycling Electric just came out with article about Swytch’s new press release outlining how they failed its customers and changes made within the business. Has anyone who bought a kit in 2026 noticed these changes impact their experience with the company?

Full statement:
“Twelve months ago, Swytch nearly went bankrupt. Today we're a 13-person business in Norwich, building our e-Bike kits in-house and dispatching them next day. We owe you the full story: what went wrong, and how we’re fixing it.

Swytch began with a question: why buy a new e-Bike when you can upgrade the one you already love? Our answer, a simple conversion kit, struck a chord: the 2017 crowdfunding campaign smashed its goal by 500%, and Swytch sold over 90,000 kits worldwide.
Then our operations buckled under the demand. We let you down. Customers waited months, even years, for their orders. People couldn't reach us when they needed help. Distributors walked away. That was unacceptable, and we're sorry.

By 2025, we were close to collapse. At our peak we had 85 employees. When Paul Reeves stepped in as CEO in December, 13 were left, facing a 4,000 order backlog and a Trustpilot full of one-star reviews.
So the team rebuilt the company from the ground up. We closed our international warehouses and brought manufacturing home to Norwich. We scrapped the pre-order model for next-day dispatch. Above all, answering customers became everyone's job, from the factory floor to the CEO, who calls them himself to put things right.

Trust isn't rebuilt in a single post. So we won't just tell you things are better, we'll show you, as it happens. With new projects already underway, we've started down the path to a Swytch our customers, shareholders and team can be proud of.”
