I’ve been working on a 24/7 independent broadcast focused on music videos, visualizers, experimental shorts, and indie animation. More linear and curated than algorithmic.
It’s called STATIC TV, and it’s currently in beta on a temporary host while the library and systems get properly built out. I’m mainly looking for people who actually care about this kind of thing so the early feedback is useful.
If that sounds like you, you’re welcome to check it out and hang around while it’s still taking shape. Submissions are still open too if you make stuff that fits.
Happy to answer questions if anyone has them.

Hi everyone! I’ve been trying some new things and adding a bit more guitar melody to my songs. What do you think? Do you think it works, or not so much?
Hey everyone!
I’m looking to step up my setup and go completely DAWless because my day job requires staring at a computer screen all day, and I'm totally burnt out on DAWs.
I mostly make Ambient and Dungeon Synth (big fan of Radagast-style dungeon synth). Right now I own a Hydrasynth and a Microfreak. I love their sound engines for rich pads and lo-fi textures, but I’ve hit a wall: I lack a proper central sequencer to control both synths while adding drums, percussion, or extra melodic layers.
I’m drawn to the Digitone for its polyphony, arpeggiator, and the Elektron sequencer to act as the central brain of my setup.
I’m currently torn between two options:
Digitone 1 (Used for ~400€)
Digitone 2 (New for ~900€)
A few questions for the community:
Is 400€ still a great deal for the OG Digitone for this workflow?
Will the 4 synth tracks + 4 MIDI tracks on the Digitone 1 feel too limiting when trying to weave complex ambient layers, dungeon synth melodies, and drums alongside sequencing the Hydrasynth + Microfreak?
Is the Digitone 2 worth the extra 500€ for the 16 flexible tracks, extra synth engines (like Wavetone), and expanded sequencer power in a DAWless rig?
Would love to hear your thoughts, especially from anyone making Ambient or Dungeon Synth on these machines! Thanks!
Hey everyone! I’m an independent electronic music producer/DJ, and I wanted to share my latest track “I Need Space.”
It’s a deep house track with a dark, atmospheric vibe, deep grooves and hypnotic elements.
I’m building YAX Project independently and experimenting with my own sound. I’d genuinely love to hear what you think — feedback and constructive criticism are welcome. 🖤
🎵 I Need Space — YAX Project
I've been building a small web instrument called Puntone, and it's designed with touchscreens — iPad and similar tablets especially — in mind.
The core idea: most instruments make you choose between precise pitches (keyboard, frets) or continuous glide (theremin, fretless strings, pitch bend). Puntone tries to keep both — and the part I'm most excited about is that this works for full chords, not just single notes.
Instead of just bending one note theremin-style, you can glide an entire chord voicing into another with your finger — the whole chord slides as one continuous motion, like theremin-ing a chord shape instead of a single pitch. There's a dedicated chord-glide / dual-pad mode built around touch: one pad handles the root note's glide, the other morphs the voicing on top of it. It feels much more natural on a touchscreen than with a mouse.
Other things it does:
It's a solo project and still evolving. I'd love feedback from people who actually write chord progressions — does gliding a whole chord feel musically useful, or does it read as gimmicky? That's the thing I most want to know.
Try it here: https://puntone-synth.pages.dev/
(Best on a tablet like iPad — touch is the primary input. Also works with Chrome/Edge on desktop via keyboard.)

I've been producing for a while now, and one thing I genuinely enjoy is figuring out HOW songs are made.
I run a YouTube channel where I recreate popular songs from scratch in FL Studio, from the sound design to the arrangement, as accurately as I can. It's basically how I've trained my ear and production skills.
Because of that, I also work with artists who want something more personal than downloading another type beat.
I make custom productions built around the artist, and I can also recreate or capture the feel of songs you love while keeping everything original.
If my work speaks to you, send me a message and tell me what you're trying to create.

Looking forward to hearing what you've got!
Issue is the following:
I wanna create a little tribute mix of his work and bought the songs for it. However both Beatport and Qobuz actually sell a low quality version of the Outrun songs.
The file shows it being cut at around 15khz, like a YouTube rip would be.
If anyone has the CD and could do a full quality rip of the song "Endless", that would be amazing!
(As said I bought the song twice already, on Beatport and Qobuz)
Thanks for your help!
