"...David's jittery stage manner is reminiscent of Don Knotts..."

Why isn’t Chris Giarmo working with David Byrne anymore?

He worked with Byrne on American Utopia and in many other gigs. I thought he brought a unique and elevating presence to the group. Looked for him every time Byrne performed on all of those late night shows.

DB Concert Film Confirmed?

Seems like Brady Corbet (The Brutalist, Vox Lux) is directing the concert film, based on this Instagram story from the band's physical therapist.

Bridgeport, CT - Artist Prints - Tuesday 5.19 @ Noon EST

Hey everyone!

Very lucky to have worked on a handful of pieces for David on this tour (including some of the current tour shirts). My last piece is the print for the show at Bridgeport, which I was able to attend (so damn good).

I have a very small amount of artist prints going up for sale tomorrow on my site and wanted to toss this in here in case anyone missed out at the show.

Thanks for all of the kind words I've received dating back to my first print for Radio City last fall, it's been a joy.

Hello all! I could not be more thrilled to have had the opportunity to create the posters for David's Baltimore shows, through collaboration with the legendary Globe Press. Scoop one if you're at the shows, and if you miss out I'll have some copies for sale on my website Tuesday at noon EST!

David current show blew me away

Just saw him and the gang in CT and holy shit. I have never had more fun at a show in my life. I was gifted 2nd row seats like a lucky bastard. This group is so impressive, and not an attempt to be a new Talking Heads. Very unique and just holy shit

My favorite Talking Heads song right now

Animals! Damn... I love this one. And I just love this version of the band. Steve seems like he would be such a fun guy to hang out with. And Adrian Belew... just amazing. These guys were (are) so creative.

Psycho Killer live '78

I just listened to the Live on Tour '78 album released last year. It gave me a whole new appreciation of '77 and More Songs About Buildings and Food. I don't remember being as excited by the recordings of this era on The Name of This Band is Talking Heads.

So this '78 recording from the Agora in Cleveland Ohio has a version of Psycho Killer that feels like a whole different animal. Full of fire. The one I know from 1980 just seems boring in comparison (Adrian's stunt guitar notwithstanding but it doesn't seem to be of a piece with the rest of the song).

I wonder if there are other recordings performances of this song out there that people love?

Once in a lifetime tattoo

Got this shortly after my eighteenth. Once in a lifetime is a very special song to me as it was my late fathers’ favourite, so this is homage to him and a classic :)
