Is Tally Hall… mid!?

Its good, but I feel its the gateway drug of absolute pure music of like Alice in Chains, Soundgarden and Nirvana and so much more. If you dont think that, go listen to man in the box or Drain you.

Did Rob change the lyrics to Flamingo?

I was going through my regular playlist on Apple Music. Flamingo came on and I was jamming to it up until the spanish part. it was all normal up until the line “No hay mal que por bien no venga.” after that I noticed the lyrics had completely changed.

After that they are supposed to be:

Sí, se requieren comprende

Nunca arriba y nunca se mueve

Aquí está con nada decir

Tus hermanos enanos se quieren oír

but that is definitely not what I heard. forgive me I’m pretty bad at Spanish, but I did my best to type out what I heard:

Se que es e, y tengo tillo (I know what it is and I have a hunch)

Que tipo de frijoles son esos, primo? (what kind of beans are these, cousin?)

Estaba raya lunar (it was a night with the moon)

La vi la luz pero no opinar (I saw the light, but I won’t give an opinion)

and then it goes back to the regular “suenos hacen allegro…” I thought maybe Rob changed it a long time ago but I use Apple Music often and I’ve never noticed it, and I havent been able to find a single social media post/online observation about the change. I went over to Spotify and listened to it, but the old lyrics are still on there.

Anyone know what’s going on here?

Are Chonny Jash fans allowed? are you all chill with fans of his also being here?

Because I enjoy both tally hall and Chonny Jash and I don’t see a problem with liking both! And I am not here to cause drama!

Anything we know about the lost media we have of the band's old pet mascot, the Chinchilla?

I've been wondering if anyone has got some info about literally anything about their old pet chinchilla or is looking up to search more about it?

My Suggestion for the new Red Tie

Guys, hear me out, but what if we get Joe Hawley? He's the same guy behind Miracle Musical and he has a very similar sound to the band. I don't know if he can really recreate what the band had, but I think it's worth a shot

(This is supposed to be a joke. I understand that Joe had to be kicked out of the band for a very serious reason.)

Is Bahamian Rap City about weed?

Due to recent events involving Joe, I've had Bahamian Rap City stuck in my head, and when I got to a certain lyric, it reminded me of some of the ramblings that Joe has been posting on Facebook about weed and it's harmful effects. If you go to my comment history, I theorized that part of his issue with weed most likely stems from it's effects on people with existing mental health issues. On FB, he mentions being able to use raw marijuana without burning it to eat. He also seems to have disliked how previous members of Tally Hall may or may not have smoked it.

Bahamian Rap City has a bunch of weird references to burning or igniting something.

'Lo, with misbegotten woe to burn. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern' 'Trust when they learned it was combustible, they had to thrust deeper into the impossible.' 'With a certain magical, edible flower under thick glass domes.'

He also mentions common marijuana side effects, such as the munchies.

'Late quesadillas resultan en pesadillas y suenos fantasticos.'

And also a line about how flying indoors is dangerous (getting high?).

'Es peligroso volar en interiores. No helicoptoeros.'

Joe has also mentioned being told by his mother and father never to smoke weed again, and in this song, it talks about a secret being released and a certain father-figure.

'Rumors trickled down the wire, dolphins spread the fateful secret well... Papa Smurf surveyed the turf of raging surf wars and star bores. The Doors all but opposed to closing old shores.'

Finally, he reprises the beginning of the song

'Yes, they were blinded by light' (Tally Hall's members?)

and ends with

'Anyone can see what it means to me.' (possibly sarcastic, but about his refusal to be around weed and weed-smokers?)

I don't normally post on Reddit, but I haven't seen many people discuss this since his ramblings on Facebook and wanted to see if anyone agreed or saw what I mean. There's some stuff in the song that don't entirely fit what I'm writing. Also, if this is the wrong place to post or if I messed up any formatting I am sorry! Let me know what you guys think!
