Cars driveshaft seems to be not fitting together
Anyone know of any fixes or do I just have to figure out what to sand down n force it to fit

My First Tamiya BB01 BBX Build!
So here is my take on the Tamiya BBX. If anyone knows my builds I like to be different and mostly none box art so I went with the Blockhead motors theme. Just waiting for my spare wheel to get here. Still not sure if I want to go brushless or brushed although I did install the slipper clutch just in case. This has to be one of the fasted builds I have ever done but it was fun and I think it came out ok.

Nearly 40 yr old silvercan
I picked up a re-release Grasshopper several years back to relive some of my youth but never got around to buying a 540 for it so just ran with the stock motor. Well, I was clearing out my Dad's basement some weeks ago and found the 540 from the Grasshopper I had in the 80's, installed it and it still works like a charm!

Clod Buster 2026 suggestions
It arrived! Just got my Clod Buster 2026 kit. Amazing kit by the looks of it and a massive box.
Before I build and get the required accessories, just thought I would come here and see what people suggest for any important upgrades.
Main thing I see are:
Steering upgrades, oil shocks, bearings? open to all suggestions.

I’ve never been into RC, but after my kid got a Lunch Box and I had to get myself one too.
My older son is into gunpla so we visit our local hobby shop often. My younger son has no interest so usually goes off and looks at the RC cars. He's been bugging me for a Lunch Box for months so decided to pick him up one for his 6th birthday. We had a blast building and painting it, but driving it brought this kind of giddy joy I hadn’t experienced since I was a kid. Being 6 years old, my kid was excited for his birthday present and understandably wasn’t ready to let me play with it as much as I wanted, so I had to get my own. I decided to get myself the Evo with a Sport Tuned can, because I gotta right? 2 days later, both cars are full of road rash and we’re having a blast. What a great hobby.

My 1st Tamiya DONE - Lunchbox
This is my first build. I had a lot of fun with it and I enjoyed the challenge. Here are some pictures before I start ripping it. My brother also built one and he went with the classic yellow. I chose a different colour so we could tell them apart when playing together. I think I’m going to purchase a TTO2 chassis to build a drift car next 😀

New battery, car won't start
Hey guys, I just flew back to my home country so I had to sell and buy a new battery, it's also been a WHILE since I've used this RC and I forgot a lot... Short story: battery is charged, according to the charger, but I get nothing when I turn the car on, not even the servo or a beep or anything. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance 🙏🏻

Tamiya Td4 Super Avante build.
So I finally finished my Td4 Super Avante. I did not go for box-art , I normally don't as I like to modify things and make them my own. I also did not want to spend another 22 Euro on paints that im going to use once, so I used what I had . Not a fan of silly driver figures, so I smoked the windshield.
I do not have access to dirt tracks or anything of the sort so I drive my cars mainly in a large parking lot. So I built this for on-road. There is a park, but its full of gravel and the stones just ruin a chassis , and rocks get in everything. Kept the original yellow wheels and all.
I was not too keen to add yellow as well , but that decal is too nice to pass up. Anyone wondering , I tried the yellow decals on the fenders but for the life of me I could not do them right so I scrapped that ( 53 with bad fingers and worse eyesight ) . For the fenders I used black hex screws I had, instead of the stainless self tapping ones, to keep in line with the theme of the stock black screws.
The rear wing is something I had bought for another project that never happened, so I decide to go with this instead of the plastic one. Its metal and makes it heavier than it already is. But for me thats not an issue.
Some intersting details, if you're interested.
I lowered the stance by adding 5mm internal spacers to the rear shocks and 7mm to the front ones. I also added the wide spacers to the spring on the outside. This thing bottoms out easily. In the photos the battery is in place.
I had a 68T spur gear extra from a high speed gear set for the TT-02 and it fits perfectly . Used a 23T pinion , so that gives me a ratio of 68/23*2.6=7.69 which is slightly less than the factory 70/17*2.6=10.71 . This will give me less accelleration and a bit more top speed. I dont race or go on small tracks, and like to drive them at distance in a huge parking lot. So this will do fine for me.
I'm using a 20T brushed motor I had from another build. Im thinking it will go around 22-23mph , more than enough for me to have fun.
Yes , I'm using the plastic diff nuts. I envisage having to replace those, so I ordered a bag of lock-nuts for when they strip. Not a fan of the so-called 'hop-up kit'. I think its too expensive and we should not have to change a new part from the get go. I have an old TA-02 with ball-diff that is bullet proof after 28 years.
Another small fix I did was to the servo . I've seen videos where servo sways side-to-side under load. The 'hop-up' brackets are supposed to fix this. The brackets leave an empty space underneath the servo. I filled that up with layers of double sided tape and now its rock solid.
All in all a nice and fun build. This car is very heavy and full of screws. But cutting the body is what I hated most, and it shows I guess. The decals were not fun either.
Aaaand the chassis.
