When you apply to tdcj,will they reach out to ALL of your former jobs as well as your current one or if you also worked at a previous agency will they only reach out to that one?

The background check from what I remember is super lenient. They really just care about no felonies, no class A's in the last 10 years, no class B's in the last 5 and a GED. That's it. They don't call previous employers. You have to remember in a lot of TDC towns they've already gone through half the town and the other half probably has a DUI so they can't be picky at all.

The fact that it's a relatively easy enforcement-type job to get is a great thing about it, honestly.

I have a co-worker under review for thief of time. He took hour + long lunch breaks without clocking out, extended cigarette (30-45 minute)2-4 times a day for around 7 months. He was required to write a statement on why he was stealing time. What is likely to happen to him. THANKS
