I’ve been thinking about buying a robot vacuum for months now, and I still can’t decide if it’s a genuinely useful gadget or just an expensive little guy driving around my apartment with confidence and no real plan.

On paper it sounds great. I don’t expect it to replace actual cleaning, but if it can keep the floor decent between cleanups, that already sounds like a win. Especially because I’m very good at saying “I’ll vacuum tomorrow” for like four days straight.

What I can’t tell is whether people who buy them end up loving them, or just tolerate them because they already spent the money.

So if you have one, was it actually worth it? Did it save time, or is it mostly a cute disc bumping into furniture?
