Built a free PickPCParts made for India 🇮🇳 Real prices + compatibility checker

Hey Everyone,

Tired of checking prices across Amazon, Flipkart, Computech store, SCL Gaming, TLG Gaming etc. every time you plan a build?

➜ I made PickPCParts.in exactly for that: > - Build your full PC with automatic compatibility checks > - Compare real-time prices from multiple Indian retailers > - Realtime deals page which gives you daily deals updates across different retailers. > - New Accessories & Peripherals section added many components are being added. > - Share builds directly to Discord or Reddit > - Partnered with some retailers to provide realtime prices. > - Option to inquire quotes from partner retailers is going to be live this month.

Would love your honest feedback on what's missing or what you want next?

Best smartphone around ₹30k for normal daily use

Looking for a good all-round smartphone around ₹30k for normal daily use. The phone won’t be used for gaming, so priorities are more towards smooth performance, good battery life, clean software experience, and reliability in long-term usage.

Priorities:

- Smooth and lag-free daily performance

- Good battery backup

- Clean UI / less bloatware

- Good display quality

- Reliable cameras

- Minimal heating issues

- Good long-term experience

Planning to get a used phone for maps and stuff on the bike, need advice

So I used to have a working samsung m15, granted it was in bad shape, like plastic chipped off here and there, screen broken, but it worked well. I got a new phone(xiaomi 14 civi), and thought I would use my old one as a mobile mount for my bike.

Welp the screen just died on me a week back so....yeah.

A friend suggested getting a used one, like a poco f1, redmi k20, oneplus 6/6T. I know these phones are good but that's the max of my knowledge bout them. Also kinda sus bout buying a second hand phone. Does anyone have any advice regarding second hand phones? Or maybe any suggestions of other phones?.

P.S I dont want to use my current phone (14 civi) as a mobile mount/maps, coz it will heat up really quick and am scared bout it, coz I intend to use this for a long long time.

Redmi Note 13 5g not supporting 5g and UPI apps

I've been using my Redmi Note 13 5g for over 6 months. It was imported from Dubai. This device is not supporting 5g and any of the UPI apps. I recently flashed this device by using MiFlash tool and Redmi Note 13 5g Global firmware. No changes at all, except changing from HyperOS 2 to 3. What should I do? I couldn't get the Indian firmware file.

OnePlus Nord CE6 is downgrade compared to CE5.

OnePlus Nord CE5 launched for starting 24,999 and CE 6 launched for around 27k.

CE 5 has Super Fluid Amoled Display vs CE 6's LCD display.

Since the CE 5 has Amoled, it can turn off its pixels in dark mode and save much more battery than CE 6, so the 8000 mAh battery is a marketing thing.

The main camera lost the Sony Sensor.

*I haven't tested the front camera so anyone can tell which is better or worse.

The Ram is downgraded from LPDDR5X to LPDDR4X.

The software updates have been decreased from 4 years to 2 years.

A larger vapour chamber (7041mm²) in CE5.

Mediatek Dimensity 8350 Apex in Oneplus nord CE5 is significantly better than Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 in oneplus nord CE 6.

OnePlus Nord CE5 still supports MicroSD card upto 1TB while CE6 has no slot.

CE5 has ultrawide but CE 6 only has macro.

Now for the small upgrades of CE 6:

Haptics are improved,

Water resistance from IP65 to IP69K.

CE 5 has mono speaker while CE6 has stereo speaker.
