Tesco injury

February time i had an accident with a cage pulling it with one hand doing overtime, I did most of my shift with a partial ruptured achillie there was no first aider on shift till I started my dotcom shift, they only logged the accident around half 6 in the morning this happen at 10pm , since then I had an investigation saying I was at fault due to having training but nothing on the legals has anything about pulling a cage not pushing it, I have never done nightshift training online or physically. Me and the union rep had tried to fight the fact but they still said I was in the wrong and and the only cctv they had was an out zoomed version and when I asked for the originally footage they had lost it. The riddor report was what they were going by, since then I have pyhsio and had to take a day off last week due to being sore and now its going on my normal absence. Can anyone help make sense of this as I feel like since they said I'm in the wrong i feel like im getting treated unfairly for something im being blamed on that wasnt my fault since I didnt have any training

Reporting a co-worker

To keep this short we’ve had issues with a homeless woman at our store, one of my coworkers is going around telling multiple coworkers there was some form of sexual harassment and/or assault between her and me (her to me) I am 17. He is actively spreading this around the store to other colleagues and our Timpsons worker who has a shop in the car park. I cannot confirm he’s the person who started it but it seems likely as he works in the car park with me where she is and was also “involved”. Is this worth reporting if so how do I go about it without going to my store management as I brought it up to a team support and they said they couldn’t do anything but try prevent it from happening again.
However many colleagues believe this is out of order from him and could be chalked up to gross misconduct.

Thinking of applying as CDD, have a few questions ❓

Hi everyone,

My background is retail I've worked for the well know fashion chain begining with 'P' for nearly 10 years, I've recently lost my job and need to get back into something quickly.

I've read that this job is miles better than working shop floor and pays better, plus I get to stay active so it appeals a lot to me to try!

However I do have a few concerns in would like some advise on and you guys would be the best place to ask as I'm sure you will be brutally honest for me 😅🙏

  1. I'm a female and wondering what the toilet situation is? Do you get time to go somewhere can it be built init your route etc to make it easier?♀️

  2. I'm not the most confident driver, with more complex junctions/motorway/night driving/navigating, is the training sympathetic with this, do they give you some guidance and instruction to help you or do they expect you to get on with it? In your honest opinion should I just forget this path altogether as this is my biggest worry?🚚

  3. What's a typical day like? Do you actually manage to finish your shift in time or do you regularly go over? An 11pm finish is late enough to be driving home.💤

  4. How do the shifts work? Is it normally around 2 or 3 full days and one 4 HR shift? Od be looking at at least 20hrs.⌚

  5. What's it like in the extreme weather? Are the vans comfortable in summer and winter? 🌞

Any advice is welcome, would love to have a chat if anyone has a spare minute to listen to my 101 questions ❓🙈🙏

Also I cant do all the overtime as I have a daughter and my mum looks after her while im at work and she has some helth conditions so I dont wanna put to much stress on her :)
