Thinking of applying as CDD, have a few questions ❓

Hi everyone,

My background is retail I've worked for the well know fashion chain begining with 'P' for nearly 10 years, I've recently lost my job and need to get back into something quickly.

I've read that this job is miles better than working shop floor and pays better, plus I get to stay active so it appeals a lot to me to try!

However I do have a few concerns in would like some advise on and you guys would be the best place to ask as I'm sure you will be brutally honest for me 😅🙏

  1. I'm a female and wondering what the toilet situation is? Do you get time to go somewhere can it be built init your route etc to make it easier?♀️

  2. I'm not the most confident driver, with more complex junctions/motorway/night driving/navigating, is the training sympathetic with this, do they give you some guidance and instruction to help you or do they expect you to get on with it? In your honest opinion should I just forget this path altogether as this is my biggest worry?🚚

  3. What's a typical day like? Do you actually manage to finish your shift in time or do you regularly go over? An 11pm finish is late enough to be driving home.💤

  4. How do the shifts work? Is it normally around 2 or 3 full days and one 4 HR shift? Od be looking at at least 20hrs.⌚

  5. What's it like in the extreme weather? Are the vans comfortable in summer and winter? 🌞

Any advice is welcome, would love to have a chat if anyone has a spare minute to listen to my 101 questions ❓🙈🙏
