Hi there! I'm playing this for the first time, solo, and for the most part really enjoying it. I have got to the point where I can open a portal to explore other wrecks, and I'm waiting to hit the animals milestone. It feels like I've run out of things to do, and the animals milestone is taking forever to get to. I'm only at about 40%. I spent my whole play session last night just sending out more rockets to speed it up, but it seems like it only helps a little.

Is this basically the last stage? Is there something I'm missing? Does this stage just take extra long? I feel like I'm just killing time waiting for the next stage, and I'm not sure how to speed it up. I've installed new drills, heaters, trees, etc, but it seems to only help a tiny bit.

What am I missing?

Edit: Not sure why asking a question is getting me downvoted, but whatever.

I've invested in fuses/boosters, rockets, etc. for my last several playthoughs. At this point I'm just repeating the same tasks with no new benifit or content. Is this the last push of the game? Is the rest of the game a slog like this? I enjoyed it up to this point, but by now I'm just bored.

So I just recently started to play this game with a friend of mine, just to add context we are massive FPS players, COD, Arc Raiders, Halo etc.

We went blind into this game, expecting it to be a day fly. We started at 10:00 in the evening on Saturday and we stopped around 05:30 in the morning.

And I’m a 35 year old guy and I must say I have not enjoyed myself with a game like this in years!

We are now both diving into this game this upcoming weekend to progress.

Amazing game, wish the visuals would be a little bit better and also more places to go to but overal enjoying it allot.

I already restarted once because I goofy around exploring and used up all my food, I assumed I would have food growers early, oops I used up all my food and had no more.

So now this time, still early in game this time, it says I need more oxygen in order to get growers, I feel like once I have food I can chill and just enjoy the game.

How on earth can I get that oxygen up?

Any tips welcome!! Please!!
