I had a job I loved, but it was closed down after 10 great years during covid.
Got another job I didn't love, then they laid off 350 people, including me, a few months back.
I can't catch a break!
The only good thing about that one was I got to work from home.
I don't have a degree of any sort.
I live in a small town in Oregon, gas is still almost $4.50 here. Any other jobs people can still do from home now days? Without degrees? The nearest big towns are 40 minutes away, gas is gonna kill my wallet.
Times are rough, jobs are hard to find, so many lay offs here.
Thanks!
Jobs are hard in Oregon. Was laid off along with 350 others, now that job is laying off that many again. Unemployment has run out, applied to about 50 jobs a week. It is so exhausting looking for more work. My job before this one was the best job, had it for 10 years, but was laid off from that one as well because of covid, place closed down during covid. I can't catch a break!
It's a full time job to apply and apply and apply!!!
Hello, got laid off my job, 350 of us did, jobs are hard to find in Oregon right now, more lay offs then jobs. I'm no pro at photography and I don't want to start a actual photography job because then I would technically need insurance, but I love taking scenic pictures or animal pictures, I'd love to find a way to create something with these and maybe sell these items and make a small profit.
Calendars and greeting cards seem just impossible to make a profit, to get good quality I need to charge too much because they just cost too much to make.
Any other ideas? Anybody do anything else with their photos?
I would love ideas, or if people know of other places to print that maybe I don't know of.
Thanks!
A couple of my favorite Miis I've made.
Went to a dahlia farm yesterday in Canby Oregon. Beautiful!
I've had this plant under grow lights for 8 months. It's been fine this whole time. But now all of the sudden for a few weeks now it seems to have gone downhill. I don't feel I've done anything different, I've always let it dry out well, then get a good soak. All my plants are under the same grow lights, 10 hours a day, all doing great. Ideas welcome please. Thanks!
