The new episode just dropped and I don't speak german so I won't be able to understand. Can anyone who has listened let me know what they said and if they addressed the israel situation?

Should we boycott him if he doesn’t release a statement on the matter? There’s a lot of people lurking here that are quite passionate about this topic and my question is what does that say about him if he doesn’t talk about it. Whether he meant “I think it’s a beautiful country and I wanted to get the fan off my back” or “I love genocide” I think it’s quite important to confirm that.. and if he doesn’t it shows how ignorant he could be. What’s your opinion? (I’ve seen a lot of people defending him and I’m not asking for you to explain why it’s okay for him to say that, it’s fucked up and he needs to confirm. My question is if he doesn’t release a statement, should we stop being his fan? Maybe give it a couple weeks till the next podcast episode comes out.)

So. As someone who’s incredibly pro Palestinian and very anti Israel. To the point of actually going to protests and signing petitions constantly and demonising the genocide on my socials I have some conflicted views with this whole Bill situation.

I’m seeing a lot of people saying he’s stupid and he doesn’t care about politics etc etc. now a couple years back Bill featured on a very political song with Kraftclub. He also just recently won a defamation case against the AfD in Germany.

To make out like this almost 40 year old man doesn’t know what’s going on in the world is the biggest load of copium I’ve ever fking heard.

But we know how a lot of artists/celebrities have to close their mouth incase their Zionist overlords decide to pull the plug. Now TH are having a bit of a resurgence with younger people and he got stopped in the street by some random filming fan who was Israeli, maybe if the camera wasn’t in his face he’d say something else, who the f knows. But I hate this and I think it’s disgusting how he’s played this and I’m not parasocial enough to expect them to care. This is why the whole “no more idols” thing exists and I can completely have a right to think different of someone I’ve followed for years by doing something I don’t agree with and not make excuses for them.

I am SICK and TIRED of hearing this shit, you people need to think before you speak, do you all think that anyone who is Jewish, speaks Hebrew, or lives in Israel supports the genocide in Palestine? Negl, majority of people in this sub are just bitter ex-fans who can’t let go of their parasocial relationship with Bill. The pipeline of parasocial fans to parasocial haters is very apparent with people of this sub. I am also always going to be baffled that people really had put Bill in such a pedestal like nothing really changed from back then but that time fans were very hurtful when you call Bill gay. Not surprising to me that the qualm this fandom has towards Bill is rooted back to him being gay.

Let’s look at this objectively before jumping to conclusions. Saying "he loves it there" about israel, suggests he was simply enjoying it as a tourist, and his comment to the fan was likely just a polite response. While it’s possible there’s more to it, shouldn't we wait for an official statement before labeling him? The harassment and death threats currently flooding Tokio Hotel fan groups and his comment section are entirely uncalled for. Ultimately, appreciating a country's culture, tourism, or history is not the same as endorsing its government or political actions.

I’m not saying I agree with his stance—I’m pointing out that it doesn't align with his track record, and he hasn't actually confirmed anything yet. Given his vocal support for Ukraine and opposition to Trump, holding that position would be a complete contradiction. We shouldn't rush to judgment before he clarifies.

You are entirely within your rights to step back as a fan, but resort to death threats crosses a clear line.
