[Back to That Place, Once More] + [Undefeated Legend] trophies on PS5

I'm now doing NG+ on PS5 and the only 2 trophies I lack to platinum this game are Back to That Place, Once More (for getting true ending in NG+) and Undefeated Legend (reach true ending without ever losing).

Question is: do I have to beat ALL wanderers again or I can just do so with bosses? Because I remember for 1 of the wanderer, I will have to hit a pillar in Ginza, so I may lose this race...

Thanks for any forthcoming advice / tips.

God... I need it! Please Genki... Do a Remake or a TXR Drift 3! 😭 (Don't make it arcade like TXR 25 btw 🗿)

The game that I literally played for 210 hours on the PS2 until the DVD disc and the DVD reader stopped working... I think I like this game! :D

I just hope that if they release a sequel, it's based on the same principles as the original, with more simcade/simulator-style driving physics. What made me like it was precisely the difficulty and learning curve for driving, the literal "GET GOOD!" That's why I love this game, and I dream of a sequel with modern graphics, improved suspension and tire physics...

We need the real Genki Race Project again! 🗣️ 🔥 🔥 🔥

Yeah that works

Wish nvidia replay actually recorded the audio like it's supposed to, that would've been nice.

Question about Endgame

Can I challenge the true ending boss after defeating the last boss, THEN beating all the Wanderers, or must I do the Wanderers first? And is going Undefeated a requirement, or just and achievement hunt goal I can do in New Game+? (Pic unrelated-ish)

TXR 2025 - Best car for Stage 3?

I have managed to get through Stage 2 using the Mazda RX-8, and now in the early parts of Stage 3. Since the game's structure sort of demands that you switch ride every stage, should I switch ride again? I have already unlocked the Mazda RX-7 just in case.

TXR 2025 - Is it time that I switch ride?

I am currently in the early parts of Stage 2, and still using the starter AE86.
But I can’t help but feel like I am struggling now. I have lost to Eternal Polaris twice, and lost against two team leaders.
Could it be that the time has come for me to switch my primary ride?

Fun fact: The Kaido President's real-life car was a Caterham Super 7.

https://web.archive.org/web/20051215110656/http://www.genki.co.jp/games/rb/sada/index.html

https://segaretro.org/Hiroshi_Hamagaki

As many of you probably know, the person who served as the model for "Hama Gaki," also known as Kaido President, was Hamagaki "SADA" Hiroshi, the CEO of Genki at the time. However, I think it's less known that he was also a car enthusiast who participated in amateur races, and that his beloved car was a Caterham Super 7.

His Super 7 was tuned for racing and adorned with numerous Genki stickers, making it truly a "Genki Super 7."

Whether it was due to their limited technical capabilities at the time or licensing issues with Caterham, unfortunately, he never appeared in the TXRD series as a rival using the Super 7.

However, understanding the background of the person he was modeled after helps explain why he favored foreign cars like the Pantera and convertibles like the Genki S2000.

And of course, one could say that his experience in this race was the very origin that led Genki to create the masterpiece known as Racing Battle. Unfortunately, it seems he has already left Genki and retired from the gaming industry. Yet, the fact remains that it was this unique CEO who built Genki’s golden age—something well worth remembering.

(And of course, the people currently involved in the production of TXR, as well as the CEOs of their parent company Daikoku, are just as passionate about cars as Hamagaki!)

Struggling with the steering

Hello,

Just got this game on PS5 and man the steering just feels incredibly stiff and unresponsive. Just lots of udnersteer. Looking online and I see people saying that the control is "twitchy" and here I am wondering if we're playing the same game. This AE86 handles more like a damn boat than my Challenger in real life.

So I think I know what my problem is. The last racing game I ever played with real cars was Midnight Club 3 DUB Edition on the original Xbox. The handling and turning in that game was damn near perfect! So maybe my issue is I'm coming into this game and trying to play it like its Midnight Club back in 2005. Shit I still play MC 3 to this day.

So I have made some adjustments. I try to be more subtle and intentional around turns and corners. Easing off gas and using the brakes as needed. I turned off Steering Angle Correction and I feel like it kinda helps. I've also been upgrading the AE86 which also makes it feel better.

But the steering just still isn't where I want it.

Anybody have any advice on what else I can change to make it feel more loose?
