Hi!! So I have been doing a th purge and u desperately want to get rid of every character in my toyhouse!!

So im making this post advertising them!!

I have multiple folders telling you what can be taken for what, i.e there are some that I'll only take money for awhile there are some ill gladly trade or take art for!! I have several hq characters with hq art! Not only that I have alot of freebies i can get rid of aswell

I rarely sell my paintings; mostly just post them in Facebook groups for fun. But since I'm going to university this year and need money for expenses sooo....

not sure what the hell i did wrong LMFAO but i simply wanted to adopt one of their open adoptables and ended up getting scammed out of 15 dollars! and then blocked after they messaged me “-nvm” lmfao just wanted to spread this users name in case they’ve done it to anyone else!

we had a short convo where i read and agreed to their tos, sent to money and then was immediately blocked :( super sucky but you love and you learn if

EDIT: i did get my money back WOOO!!! but i still have made a thread about them and now their friend (I ASSUME!!) bc they also blocked me when i tried to reach out to them about the whole situation :0P i’m trying to keep a light heart since so many people have reached to me with kind words!! im just trying to advocate atp

EDIT: hopefully this will be my last edit with this, i made a forum but got a lost of pushback bc i lacked evidence despite having screenshots, said i doxxed them because i had their cashapp name in a screenshot and was basically told im a horrible person for saying i was doxxing and i don’t see how using that specific screenshot was so horrible. i got my money back at the end of the day so i just want to be done with this lol,,,toyhouse definitely has some horrible people ill say that much. i was told by someone i wont name that i was put on the persons blacklist and that i was in their DNI list bc i had “s/a” in one of my warnings—this explains a lot of true! which is totally fair, but taking my money and then blocking me without an explanation still isn’t fair imo, idk maybe i just blew this out of proportion.

EDIT: okay this’ll be my last edit bc i just can’t handle the stress this post has brought me—i can’t go an hour without thinking someone is going to send me a death threat soon or try to do something akin to that so ill be turning off comments and just staying away from toyhouse, and tiktok for a while. ive already deleted my post on there since two people have told me that the artist has made a post about me explaining that this was supposedly a big misunderstand and that i doxxed them. again i never meant to cause any harm and just to spread awareness for someone i believe scammed me. i appreciate everyone who sent me kind words.

for context, i uploaded a couple characters of mine that were based on loki from the MCU, i thought it was no big deal, because i feel like i see them all the time in the tags on the site, in fact i see multiple adoptables with the MARVEL tag as well with his actual name being sold for acual money, clearly meant to be him. i am mostly upset because i had one up with no bio, just the reference sheet, and it clearly meant to be a fursona of him, why is mine removed but not adoptables?

Hello lovely people! I'm relatively new to the world of adoptables, and nowadays I come across them more so in places like VGen (though many years ago I looked through ToyHouse for this thing and there seems to be an active community still), so I wanted to have a go at creating my own and I'd really love to continue creating them!

I'm also looking to create a video going over my process of making my first adoptable, so any insight and advice for beginners generally would be appreciated to also include in this video!

This is my first one and I've looked around at pricing and tried to set it around similar quality art & designs, but I'm worried I'm overpricing a little (at least, for my very first adoptable ever). She's a cute deer girl inspired by j-fashion and the final design includes high quality PNG versions of this art & character design (unwatermarked), and an additional sheet that details some of her nude fur markings & colours.

I've priced it at £80 base (with +£20 for commercial: content license, think VTubing or content creation). I'm wondering if it should be closer to the £55 - £65 base mark though. I have seen adoptables priced around my base price as well, but not sure if they're only able to price at that mark because they've already built up trust and reputation with buyers.

Within 14 days of buying I am also offering 40% of my usual commissions with this character! For those who also do commissions, have you ever offered anything like this alongside an adoptable sale? I'm not sure if it's overkill >.>
