im genuinely really scared right now, i messaged my nurse about getting a refill after about 6-ish months on testosterone and she responded with saying it should be lasting me 39-40 weeks, and she's saying the doctor might not refill my medication?? I don't know if she's bullshitting me but i haven't been trying to take extra or anything, there's no solid lines for .25ml so i likely take .27-ish but i would have to be losing an entire .1ml extra every injection.

I use a Luer-Lok 3ml syringe and i switch to a longer 1 1/2" needle, i have a 10ml bottle, i think the brand is Xiromed if that matters, i think some brands add a bit extra to account for any lossage. I've been trying to do some digging and i've found maybe 1 or 2 mentions of my brand of needles I use wasting that extra amount but i can't find any source on that yet, here's one of the people who's mentioned that:

okay i found this calculator that says 29 doses should be expected from this but I would like some sources that look a bit more reputable if I'm to show this to my doctor, i have like 2 weeks or so left for testosterone for now at least. TwT

I’m only wanting to be on T for a short while, half a year maybe. I’m scared of needles + I think they’re gonna be difficult to source and hide from my family anyway. Is sourcing gel impossible?

I would like to ask for some advice on when best to test on a slightly unusual injection schedule.

I started DIYing back in April with weekly injections of testosterone enanthate (20mg a week). The peaks and troughs were terrible for me and by day 4 between injections my mental health would start dramatically decline, only to go back to my normal baseline just before the next injection.

This was completely unsustainable, so I decided to start injecting half my dose every 3 days instead. This new cycle has been working wonderfully for me since, and after about 3 months I upped my dose to 50mg weekly.

I did my first blood test just recently at 'trough', a few hours before my injection, but I wonder if the timing of it was accurate, as the half life of T enanthate is 6 days after all?
I am asking this as my results came back a bit high (36.5 nmol/L)

I also found out that this clinic does not routinely test for oestradiol, so that's a bit of data missing too...
I have not had any weird side effects, and the rest of my results are all in range.

So I am wondering if anyone is on a similar injection schedule, and if so do when do you test? Or do you space out your injections a bit more, like every 4 days instead of 6?

is it worth taking finasteride (1mg) while microdosing T? I had 100% decided that I DO need fin, since I am pretty damn likely to get hairloss (my dad became shiny bald in his 20s-30s), I don't really want bottom growth, I DON'T want facial hair at all and I prefer to shave my body too so I won't really care abt the body hair. I just feel like I wanna start preventing it all as soon as possible, but I'm not sure if I can start finasteride while microdosing tbh​​

for context i am 16 and while sometimes i live alone, i still depend on my parents, who i dont plan on telling about this.

i just bought 2 vials of enanthate so hopefully everything works out and i get them soon. at first my plan was to start low dose, like 20mg or 25mg (going off the guide) so the changes wouldnt be as sudden but then i heard that thats too low to stop body feminization. but im also not sure how it would be possible for me to get my blood tested for t levels without my parents finding out.

so what is the lowest dose could i go on for my body to stop feminizing but also not go above recommended t levels? what signs will i have to watch out for that suggest that the dose is too high? this might be a stupid question sorry if thats the case

I'm 16 currently and my parents are unsupportive, they would never let me get on T or anything of the sort. My dysphoria is only getting worse and i just feel so lost. I want to do DIY but part of me wonders if that would be stupid when in 2 years I'm going to try and get a prescription anyways (for surgeries and records)

I bought T from a VERY trusted source, its a huge T vendor for just stuff in general. I used Venmo since thats what I had and they are a business on venmo.

My package was supposed to come yesterday. It said my Forward had expired on tracking and that it was sent back to sender??

For reference I'm in the US and its a US domestic place. I also used a different name that my legal name due to me not wanting Mt family to open my packages.

The USPS people never came to my door at all so no one in my house sent it back to sender.

I’m probably going to start DIY injections soon, but i will be low dosing for now as i am closeted, and i am living with family who i need to hide it from. i wanted to start on 20mg a week, and the cheapest vial that i could find was 300mg/ml. so in that case my dose would be (20 / 300 =) 0.0667ml. Is it okay to inject such a small amount of liquid, or should i look for a less concentrated vial? Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this, i am very new to this stuff 😓

went to my gp because I've been on 90mg of testosterone for two weeks now. I asked for a blood test for the sake of harm reduction and I had to explain myself n reassure my doctor that I did a lot of research and that I understood the risks. I get that they have to discourage me from continuing but they refused to check my hormone levels at all which doesn't stop me, but just means I'm doing it in the dark without supervision.

they're offering me one blood test to check my overall health because I've never had one done before. it's just to check liver function n kidney function, full blood count, iron levels and stuff like that.

but otherwise they're leaving me high n dry and I get that I should've expected that but I am so so poor man 💔💔 I cannot afford private blood tests I have like £150 of disposable income a month and half of that is going towards self care.

basically I need to know if there's anything affordable I can buy online just to check t levels n maybe also e levels.

(on the bright side I am already getting little voice cracks which is so damn entertaining like I can't hit some high notes anymore and I can also make this really low rumbling sound lmao)
