Made some braised duck leg (and pork belly for my partner who doesn’t eat duck really) today. Ate it with some braised cabbage and sautéed black trumpets and cinnabar chanterelles.
Found it shortly after I came out. I do not know mycology, so I left it alone. First time I hiked in a dress, and I regretted it; I was eaten alive by mosquitoes.
The Amanita caesareae stirps Hemibapha and lilac boletes have been sooo plentiful lately! Also lots of bicolor boletes but I think I’m not the hugest fan of them?? Only tried them once, maybe I’ll give them another go. Brought my friend some of the amanitas and they’re making ravioli with it mmmm
