I’ve always been a doodler (mostly to make sure I’m listening instead of zoning out in social situations), but recently I’ve gotten really into it as a way to decompress/meditate/etc. Got myself a notebook and supplies and all that. Here’s what I’ve done so far. Thoughts? Ways to improve? New patterns to try? This sub seems full of super rad people so I thought I’d hop on the bandwagon 🔮
In alchemy, putrefactio is the crucial stage of decomposition and rotting where old forms break down completely. Represented by the blackening or nigredo, this process reduces materials to a uniform black mass. It is the essential death of the old before spiritual or physical rebirth.
"Sun Disc", acrylic on a 16" diameter canvas, 2026. I created this one a few months. I think it's my first circle canvas I've painted on. It reminds of a shield, has a mandala vibe, and feels like a strong emblem for good energy and protection.

This was gonna be the background to another piece but then it got more and more complicated until it was cool enough to be its own piece :) very happy with how this one came out!!
My inspiration for creating fractals came from my first DMT experience, where I observed true, intricate patterns. During the transition into alternative dimensions, fractals were the very first visuals to appear as the experience took hold. This profoundly inspired me to replicate those visuals using After Effects.
A Julia set is a type of fractal defined by a simple polynomial equation. Named after French mathematician Gaston Julia, it is created by repeatedly iterating the formula $z_{n+1} = z_n^2 + c, where z represents the starting pixel coordinates and $c$ is a constant complex number.
Fractals are relaxing and calm to see, it inspired me to create a render of fractal therapy.
I’m making shirts using sun printing to print my “Self-Realization” artwork onto a shirt.
It’s meant to represent the spiritual journey and going beyond your self and ego to embody your Higher Self.
Which one looks cooler / trippier, the more faded print, or the clearer print?
