Jeg har en situasjon hvor jeg må få fraktet et brev til Longyearbyen byen ganske hurtig den uken. Om noen kjenner noen som reiser til øya i den perioden plis ta kontakt!

Vi har begynt å kjøpe mat "in bulk", for eksempel gjør vi et storkjøp hver 3. måned og får 24 bokser med hakkede tomater, 24 bokser med sorte bønner, 12 flasker majones osv. Akkurat nå kjøper vi alt fra Extra så vi ikke får tilbud. Er det mulig å bestille fra noen og få billige priser når vi kjøper slikt?

Vi bor i Tromsø så kanskje det er vanskeligere enn i Sør-Norge...

TLDR : How to catch big cods / flounders etc... from shores in Kvaløya.

I recently moved to Storelva which is on Kvaløya just next to Tromsø and got into fishing for the first time in my life.

I acquired a 2.4m rod up to 220g, a 6000 reel (apparently it's a bit overkill for shore fishing but it's the best I could find not too expensive on finn.no). I use 60g and 100g metal lures.I fished a few times already and was able to catch small cods, around 35cm quite consistently. Being too small to keep I released them. I also went to Hella where I caught A LOT of small coalfish.

But my question is how to catch big cods ? I hear they can grow quite big and i'd like some big enough to keep and have chunky filets to make of them. I also heard about flounders / halibuts.

For now I try to through the lure as far as possible, let it sink to the bottom, and then jig it back up.

Hi! I’m a new student here at tromso! I lost a very sentimental piece of jewelry in the city the night before yesterday and was hoping someone might have found it.

I had Pres with my faddergruppe at UiT before going to Heidis. I know I had the jewelry on me at Heidi’s as I took it off after a while to keep it safe in my pocket, however, I haven’t seen it since.

It’s an extremely sentimental necklace to me as it’s 3 wedding rings that belonged to my grandparents, so I would be incredibly grateful if anyone found it or happened to see it.

I have checked with Heidi’s and they haven’t found it so I thought I would ask around here just in case someone’s picked it up.

If you think you may have found it, please get back to me! I’m offering a 1000kr finders reward to anyone who returns it!

It would mean a lot to me to get my necklace back!

Vi har en leilighet som vi leier nært til sentrum, som er en bakgård-hybel ting. Eieren våres skal selge sitt hus, og leiligheten går med huset. De nye eierene vil sparke oss ut for å "bo inn i leiligheten", men vi tror at det er bare noko de sier så at vi skal flytta ut, og de da kan bruke han leiligheten som en AirBnB. Er det noko at vi kan gjøre? Hvem bør vi snakka med?

Alle anbefalinger er velkommen... Jeg har flytta deltid ned til Oslo pga jobben min, men kona mi fortsett bor i Tromsø og vi ikke vil flytte fra leiligheten.

Mushroom picker stumbled upon heavily littered campsite in the Tromsø wilderness

Nordlys has received several photos of what appears to be an abandoned camping camo in the Tromsø wilderness, not far from a popular recreational area with well-maintained hiking trails in the town.

According to the person who tipped off the newspaper, empty bottles and cans and other rubbish are scattered around a makeshift tent structure that appears to be inhabited.

Nordlys has spoken with the tipster, who was out picking mushrooms in the area when they came across the campsite, well hidden inside the forest.

The site was deserted when the mushroom picker discovered it and is reportedly located in somewhat difficult-to-access, hilly terrain. There is no trail leading to it, but whoever is staying there has apparently been using a bicycle for transportation.

The bicycle is parked next to the tent and must have been brought there through the forest.

Nordlys contacted Henrik Romsaas, an outdoor recreation adviser for Tromsø Municipality, about the matter. He was not aware of anyone living at the location in question, but says it is not entirely unusual for tourists or travellers to set up camp in the Tromsø town.

“You might be surprised by how long some people have been camping outdoors without anyone reporting it,” he says.

He himself has on several occasions been in contact with people who, for various reasons, live outdoors on Tromsø island There can be many different reasons for this, the outdoor recreation adviser says.

“But regardless of the reason, we do not want people camping in the Tromsø island.”

Tromsø Municipality’s local police regulations explicitly state that camping, pitching tents, and similar forms of overnight accommodation are prohibited in public parks, green spaces, and recreational areas within residential districts.

Nevertheless, according to Romsaas, there are still people who push the limits of these rules. In such cases, the police may become involved so they can follow up on any potential violations of the local police regulations.

“We have had cases where people have been ordered to leave, for example at Prestvannet,” he says.

The vast majority voluntarily pack up and clean the area when asked to do so. But some campsites has been abandoned and left littered, and the municipality must make sure that it is cleaned up.

I am looking for areas to longboard in Tromsø, so far ive found that storgata/gågata/walking-street seems to have the best road surface - but there's way too many people and its kinda short.

I’m a 14-year-old boy looking for a new hobby and hoping to make some friends outside of school. Most of my time is spent at school or sitting at home, and while I’ve tried things like writing, drawing, coding and gaming, I’d like to try something more social. I’m interested in creative stuff and meeting new people, but there seem to be both too many and too few options at the same time. Does anyone know of any clubs, activities, groups or places in Tromsø that are suitable for someone my age and preferably low-cost?

Hey I hope this is allowed here. We were in Tromso back at the beginning of the year and we went to the Hard Rock Cafe in Tromso. My son purchased a drink and shot glass there. My daughter has put the shot glass through the dishwasher and the design on the glass has faded and it’s ruined. I’m wondering if there is anyone local to Tromso who would be an utter legend and purchase the shot glass for me and send it to me as I live in Wales. Obviously I’d pay for the shot glass and shipping plus whatever drink you’d like in the bar. If there is anyone who could do this for me please inbox me. Thankyou 🤘🏼
