Suspended Account

URGENT

Hello Tuta Support Team,

I hope all is well

My newly created account, was automatically suspended shortly after registration.

I believe this is a false positive triggered by the automated anti-abuse system, as I am a legitimate individual user setting up a private personal inbox. I may have been using a VPN during registration, which I understand can sometimes flag accounts.

Could a team member please manually review and restore access to my account?

Oszustwa

dostaje opóźnione wiadomosci na e-mail o dziwnych godzinach, czasem jakby w odpowiedzi na to co robię na telefonie. Nie mogę napisać maila do obsługi tuta bo chcą pieniądze za bezpośredni kontakt.

Official Statement😉

Here is Tuta's official statement regarding the recent news in the gaming industry 😉

Microsoft auto-installs Microsoft 365 Copilot → REMEMBER TO OPT OUT!

Microsoft does not care about public backlash, & what people now call "MicroSlop" because it has decided to quietly resume auto-install of its #AICopilot on some windows PCs with Microsoft 365 desktop apps.
You did not enable this or opt in: Microsoft chose for you &  you must "opt out" if you don't want the AI.
Find out more 👉 https://tuta.com/blog/microsoft-auto-installs-365-copilot
If you're tired of unethical Big Tech practice for your personal or business accounts, do not "Opt out" once again, make a switch to privacy-respecting alternatives.

Suggestion: Labels - auto-apply and remove the "Apply" button

With labels, I feel that it would be better to apply the label as soon as I click on it, rather than waiting for me to also click the "Apply" button. I can't think of why you need both. To me it is conflating standards for a pop-up window with a menu drop-down.

I'd prefer it is changed so it immediately applies and closes. I think the Apply button is trying to deal with multiple labels, but to me the industry-standard workflow would be to just apply one label with each open of the menu, else if you want multi-select you can click the icon of the label rather than the text to change it to checkbox format, and then you might have an Apply button or just close it again by clicking out or re-clicking the Labels menu button.

The current state with the Apply button seems to have deviated from standard in a way that increases the risk of data-loss where it's easy to not notice the Apply button and you're confused why the menu is still there so you close it by clicking away, which loses the label choice.

More and more countries ditch Microsoft as the movement of digital sovereignty keeps growing🎉🇪🇺

The idea of digital sovereignty is to become independent from US Big Tech providers that have too much control over our digital infrastructure.

One European digitally sovereign alternative is Tuta, the company behind quantum-safe, encrypted email, calendar, and drive solutions. Tuta is GDPR compliant and hosted in Germany.

Only together we can achieve digital sovereignty💪🇪🇺

Find out more about which countries are ditching Microsoft and becoming digitally sovereign here 👉 https://tuta.com/blog/countries-ditching-microsoft-choosing-linux-digital-sovereignty

Login without password

Anyone else wish Tuta would let you log in with just email + YubiKey, no
password? Other services already do it with FIDO2.
Would be a game changer for those of us using hardware keys. Any word on this being in their roadmap?

What happens to an @tuta.com email address after canceling renewal?

I paid for an @tuta.com address, and assuming I do not renew later:

  • Will the mailbox remain active and continue to work?

  • Will the mailbox remain but no longer be usable?

  • Will it enter some kind of “freeze” period, then expire or become recoverable after re-subscribing?

If anyone can share an official explanation link, that would be great.

What am I doing wrong?

Tutamail has been a horrible experience so far. I randomly got logged out of my account, my password that is literally saved is not working, and my recovery kit does not work. This is the second tutamail this has happened to. Wtf is going on. What am I doing wrong???

Edit: It was a new sign up approval bug.
