I have been with tuta for a few months on the free email account to test it and have been pleased with how it has worked so far. Now considering making it my main email address and possibly taking out a paid subscription.

However I have concerns.

Just reading this subreddit there are many posts stating that users have lost access/had difficulty accessing accounts and on another site some even saying accounts have been deleted.

So what is the true, and how reliable is tutamail?

Tuta keeps putting 100% legit emails from Indeed, Google, LinkedIn, Vercel, Battlenet, and many other services in the spam folder. Guys? Seriously? It's basically my inbox at this point.

I keep clicking "Not spam" every day and reporting phishing. It's useless.

Besides this, obvious spam with radiating scam energy and ultra sketchy domains lands in the inbox 🙃

Do something or give us an option to turn it off.

Yes, I know this is a bit of a rant and it's not going to change anything, but I'm just fed up, and at least it's a way to vent

I have never had a custom domain before but it looks simple enough to use on with tuta, any recommendations on who to get the custom domain from? If I get a custom domain that means I can take my custom email address to whatever email provider I want at anytime correct?

Hey Tuta, does your calendar support presenting events in a specific timezone? It looks like I can create an event using different timezone, but the main calendar view is pulling the timezone from the web browser. Is there a way to use a different one that whatever web browser reports?

For example, in many web browsers when figerprinting prevention is enabled an entire calendar defaults to UTC (browser default) which is useless and you as privacy first company should be aware of that. Also, when traveling I'd like to see my events in the local timezone without changing my system/browser configuration. There is also nothing in calendar settings, you can't even set your default timezone for events...

I was thinking about switching to Tuta but without such simple functionality an entire Tuta service is useless to me.

Can anyone tell me how long it takes to get a reply from support on the Legend plan? It says you get priority email support with a reply in a day but that isn't true. Edit: Issue resolved

I can't find a release date for Tuta Drive but I'm desperately waiting for it to finally get rid off Google Drive. So when is it finally coming?

ME:My folders seem to be auto-expanding causing drag and drop to be useless.

It would be nice to be able to sort/organize folders and labels by being able to place them above or below one another in addition to having an option to have them sorted by alphabetical order.

I have someone who insists on sending me emails with multiple video attachments which I assume take up storage. The immediate questions are: [1] Is this person taking up my Tuta storage with his videos? [2] is there a way of deleting the video attachment and keeping the message? (that is an option when I was using Thunderbird; [3] When I delete the email have I freed up the storage?

👋 I paid for tuta revolutionary on Aug-10 using credit card and cancelled it the next day, but I haven't received my refund yet. tuta doesn't offer the ability to send a email to their customer service unless you have a paid membership 🙄 . The only alternative I found is to write in reddit and hence writing it here. Can anyone tell if this is normal or do I need to do something to get money back.

Hello. I’m pretty new to Tuta, been using about three months. Generally like it, but recently the iOS app became agonizingly slow to load. Every single time I open the app, it takes at least 20-30 seconds to load, sometimes much longer, so long that I’ll just give up waiting and check back later. It comes and goes. I’m on the latest iOS and latest app version. No vpn. Any ideas? Thanks!
