i'm trying to do a tito run, specifically the demsoc path, any template suggestions?
tl;dr chain of events:
By now, America has declared war on Georgia and the war between the French Algerian administration and Algeria proper is on, but I can't get my troops to Georgia and the Algerian war appears to be broken, so this is about as far as I can go. There's also Gotenland still but Ukraine is slowly killing them.
I defeated Romania then went down the István Horthy path with Otto as the king and democratized
I defeated Croatia in the border war and took Srejm, Slovakia demanded their "territories" and I refused but they didn't even get a wargoal on me
So I have the decision to form Greater Hungary but no way to get the territories for it, what can I do?
Title is self explanatory here. First time playing China, just going thru econ/stabilize countryside focuses, suppressing communism. I stay on Civillian Economy and build civ factories. Two years go by and the Vietnam war kicks off and I still have a huge guns deficit that, at current rate, won't be filled for 1200 days.
Now mind, I've been doing a balanced build where I keep up in anti tank, planes, tanks etc. Only about 5 mils have been on guns. I could have dropped everything and just shoved production into guns and support equipment + arty. Is that the better pick?
While remilitarization would certainly come alot (very much so) later then it did for Germany otl, I believe it still would happen eventually. I think it would, assuming a perfect tl for the TA, depend on how balkanized Germany is, if it is at all, and of course, not the UN ending, would come quicker the more split up as the TA might see it as more of a threat. I think remilitarization tl would be somewhat like this:
Complete Balkanization: Sometime in the 60's, militaries are just small self defense forces, just enough to defend themselves.
Three state solution: Depends on state, all allowed to remilitarize by the 1980's at the longest. Militaries kept small, 200k max at most.
Unified Germany: 1980's-1990's, maybe even kept demilitarized into the 2000's. Military kept small and on a very tight leash. This is also the situation where permanent and complete demilitarization is pretty realistic to me.
I'm interested in your thoughts, this is just me wanting to talk about something in this mod tbh.
Or TA could just never let a single gun go in Germany again.
Did some research into the RKs earlier and ended up finding some issues with this one. First the border issue, but then the other two when I dug a bit deeper.
Issues:
A quote from RK Ukraine's Wikipedia page that started this mess:
>Scheduled for incorporation into the Reichskommissariat Ukraine but never transferred to civil administration were the Generalkommissariate Tschernigow (Chernigov), Charkow (Kharkov), Stalino (Donetsk), Woronezh (Voronezh), Rostow (Rostov-on-Don), Stalingrad, and Saratow (Saratov), which would have brought the boundary of the province to the western border of Kazakhstan. In addition, Reichskommissar Koch had wishes of further extending his Reichskommissariat to Ciscaucasia.
In this war, both Romania and I attacked Bulgaria at the same time, I occupied the Yugoslav core states while Romania did most of the work. I still got ~30% war score, but somehow that was enough to claim all of Bulgaria except the Aegean coastal states, which I got in round 2. Romania eventually gave up and let me have everything.
Greater Yugoslavia moment?
Wanted to get into the mod after reading the original imaginary maps lore, now I want to know what countries are good for learning the ropes. I typically play some damned foolish thing in the Balkans when new to a mod (e.g. Bulgaria and Serbia in KR, Bulgaria again in Collapsing World) because those are typically not major countries but still have action, which is a type of country that I like.
