I've used the following filter for a long time to remove the YouTube featured video thumbnails.

www.youtube.com##:is(yt-lockup-view-model):has(.ytBadgeShapeText:has-text("YouTube featured"))

Up until just now, the filter would hide the video thumbnail and a different video thumbnail would be in it's place cause everything "shifts" over. But now suddenly there's just an empty gap there. I assume Google changed some CSS that's causing this. Any assistance to get it back to how it was would be great, thank you.

Yandex Browser received an update today, and when I restarted the browser, I noticed that uBlock had stopped working and been disabled; I was even getting a warning to remove it. I downloaded and installed version 1.75.1b10 from GitHub (in both .crx and .zip formats), but then I started getting an error stating that external applications cannot be installed. It seems like this is the end of the road for uBlock

Using uBO on FireFox, the Block Button on TikTok becomes non-functional. Disabling uBO allows it to work again. Is there some exception filter I need to add to My Filters to get it working?

It also causes bugs with trying to post comments, but I'll settle for the Block button working without having to toggle uBO off and on for now.

I noticed this tag on videos. Could we use it to create a filter for it?

Ideally it would block whatever javascript is capturing highlighted text before it pops up the Alexa prompt stub

[ grid-shelf-view-model.ytGridShelfViewModelHost ]
Hides shorts on the YouTube homepage but not in the subscription tab (which I personally prefer)

[ chips-shelf-with-video-shelf-renderer ]
Hides YouTube playables

[ ytm-browse:not(:has(> yt-page-header-renderer)) ytm-backstage-post-renderer ]
Hides channel posts and polls on YouTube homepage but not the posts tab from a channel page

[ ytm-pivot-bar-item-renderer:nth-of-type(2) ]
Hides shorts button

I’ve never done anything like this before so there are probably better filters out there, but I tried to prioritise efficiency. so if any pros have suggestions please feel free to comment them :)

Because idk what I’m doing and had to get Claude to help :/

I use uBlock on safari but I still somehow get pop up, PUPS and the like on certain websites what’re the best filters to prevent this? (Or is this just a mobile thing)
