Mvv signature

I am applying mvv through university immigration team I signed three documents study monitor, antecedent, and general term. They told me my signature don’t match the one on my passport. The signature on my passport includes both original language and English of my name but I only signed English because there was a line under antecedents document instructed me to only include my English name . So I wonder whether should I sign in English or both. I have contacted eur but they haven’t responded yet I don’t know what to do as deadline for mvv is approaching. Is there anyone who also applied for mvv how do you guys sign???

Missed Erasmus IBEOR Math requirement by 1 point (IB) – any chance they’ll make an exception?

Hi everyone,

I just received my IB results today. I got 31/42 (excluding core), but unfortunately I got a 4 in Math AA HL. From what I understood, the requirement for my conditional offer for the International Bachelor Econometrics and Operations Research (IBEOR) at Erasmus University Rotterdam was a 5 in Math.

Everything else is in line with my offer, and I only
missed the Math requirement by one point.

Has anyone been in a similar situation, or knows someone who has? Does Erasmus ever make exceptions for conditional offers if you narrowly miss one subject requirement, or is it usually a strict no?

I’ve already emailed the admissions office, but I’m curious if anyone has any experience with this while I wait.

Thanks in advance!

Bueb Budapest university is it actually that bad or people r just exaggerating?

Hi please i need ur help i got accepted at bueb university but they want me to pay for two semesters before they’ll send me the visa documents and everything else. However, I’ve read a lot of negative reviews about the university. So, I’d like your advice—could you tell me what’s bad about it? Do you think I should continue with this university, or should I look for another university or even another country?

Slightly short on Ects requirements for Msc Econometrics

Hello everyone! I aim to apply for admission to Msc Econometrics at uErasmus next year, thing is I am kind of worried about admission, I fulfil all Ects except 16 ects on Operations Research and 8 in programming. I think I know the answer but wanted to ask here, is it strictly rejection in such cases? Thanks in advance

IBEB Graduates Job Prospect

For those that have completed the IBEB course from EUR, how were your job prospects after graduation? This question is more specially targeted to international students. Were you able to find good jobs after bachelors or were you forced to do a masters as well?

I need help deciding!

I am a student and I need to choose one of these cities to live in for at least four months, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Please share your opinions and experiences if you have any, regarding prices, lifestyle, people, activities, beauty, and so on.

The options are:
Lisbon, Portugal 🇵🇹
Prague, Czech Republic 🇨🇿
Valencia, Spain 🇪🇸
Madrid, Spain 🇪🇸
Warsaw, Poland 🇵🇱

(Correct me if I have any incorrect information)
Lisbon is a big wish of mine. It looks wonderful and relaxed, and the people seem cheerful to me. I see potential for various activities, and the city is huge, so I think I would never be "bored" because I could always explore something new. It is probably just a bit more expensive.
Prague, I have already visited as a tourist once, and out of all the cities in Europe, it left the strongest impression on me. It is a city that has something special, and the people are also nice. Regarding prices, it is very similar to Croatia. I can totally imagine myself living here for at least four months without getting bored, but I would like to give a chance to the ones I haven't visited yet.
Valencia, this city is definitely on my list to visit. It is such a beautiful, tropical-feeling city with so much potential that can be utilized, not to mention the activities. I can also totally imagine myself living here. I can say similar things about Madrid, although I am still hesitant about it as an option.
Warsaw, definitely a positive surprise after I researched it a bit more (I am a fan of New York, so it makes sense). An accessible city that combines the classic and the modern. I hadn't thought about it at all before, but now it keeps popping into my head.

OMPT-A

Hey guys! So i recently decided ill be taking the OMPT-A for a uni and i need 75% in my first try to have a chance in getting in. I took the OMPT-D a few months ago and failed to acheive my required grade (75%) and got only 46%. Im just wondering if i should expect a test as hard as the OMPT-D and if there is any free resources available to study and to get some help in how to study for this test cause i feel like its pretty hard to study only based in the practice material ( for the OMPT-D i used AI to give me more exercises and practice more). If anyone has any thoughts on this test id love to hear about it!

BSA uitstel Rechtsgeleerdheid

First year international student looking for help regarding accommodation.

Hello! My name is Kostadin, I am 19 years old and from Bulgaria. I have been accepted to study economics at Erasmus university for which I am greatly excited. The only thing left for my move later this summer is to actually find my accommodation with which I have been struggling with. I have been hearing that this process is especially difficult in the Netherlands but didn’t think it could actually put me in a position where I would be worried about my future.

I have been looking through different websites such as “kamernet” and “stay scout” but I have yet to succeed in finding something that fits me. It is worrying because I am not overly needy. What I am looking for is a furnished room in a reasonable distance to my university. My budget is about 700 euros per month which might be where the difficulties begin. Regarding conditions, square meters of the room, roommates, shared spaces… I am very flexible and could settle for less.

What I am hoping to receive through this post I hopefully some advise from residents in the city who have gone through this process. Should I look into for example Facebook groups related to Erasmus or just accommodation? Is my criteria reasonable? Is there a website, agency, Facebook group… that I am missing and could help me? Should I settle for something more expensive just to have a secured spot or keep searching?

I am open to offers through here if any available. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am hugely excited to become a part of the Rotterdam community and experience this beautiful city. Thank you in advance!
