Query about Dropping Module

Hi,

I'm a final-year Social Sciences student at UCD, currently doing 25 credits in Autumn and 35 in Spring.

I need medical treatment soon and have been advised to reduce my Autumn workload. Can I drop a module now (bringing me to 20 credits) and make up the credits in Spring (40 credits) while still graduating on time?

I'm also on a full SUSI grant. Would this affect my funding? Also would dropping a module now result in fee implications or having WN on my transcript?

Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Advice for studying in Rotterdam?

Hi everyone,

I am planning to soon apply for my masters at Erasmus University Rotterdam. I am planning to study a MSc in Sociology (either the Power, Public and Engagement route or the Social Inequalities and Change route). If anyone has any extra information or advice for the course it would be very appreciated.

I am an EU student coming all the way from rainy Dublin in Ireland. I was wondering how much money should I realistically be taking over with me to Rotterdam? Bare in mind I just work a part time job at the moment. I am thinking around 10k, but I am not sure. Also would be getting a job in Rotterdam be hard? I don't speak Dutch.

I also have heard the NL has a relatively bad housing crisis so any advice on that would be great too!

Cheers!

Advice for Masters at Utrecht!

Hi everyone,

I am planning to soon apply for my masters at Utrecht University. I am planning to put my first choice as the MSc in Social Policies, Challenges and Interventions, and my second choice at Human Rights and Conflict Studies. If anyone has any extra information or advice for either course it would be very appreciated.
