Can I fire
47 wife is 44. 1.8 invested, 330k equity in house. Invested breakdown = 500k brokerage, 1.3 retirement accounts. Spend = 70k now, should be about the same in retirement since we can get low healthcare costs via our generous state program. Kids = taken care of with 529s, 16 and 18 yo. Only debt is $65k left on mortgage. We are both sick of our jobs, making $285k total per year. Can we pull the trigger on early retirement in 1.5 years?
