What actually stops you from breaking down vs. what’s just nice to have (Airstream spare parts)

An Airstream community member asked for tips on what spare parts to carry in our Airstreams. I offered a few must haves and so did many others. If searched various forums and groups for more ideas and sorted them by what actually strands people vs. what’s just a hassle.

Sail switch was the one that caught me off guard, small $15 part, but it fails often enough and isn’t always stocked locally, so a dead furnace mid-trip is a real thing people deal with. Fuses, water pump, and hitch pins round out the “would actually end your trip” tier.

I created an Airstream spare parts for myself and others, if curious.
