I spent three months creating this 60,000-bead embroidery
This is one of my large-scale bead embroidery artworks.
The piece contains approximately 60,000 beads and took me around three months to complete, entirely by hand.
I use thousands of individual beads to recreate the depth, colour and details of a painting on textile. From a distance, it reads almost like a painting; up close, you can see every individual bead.
I love the process of transforming an image into something completely physical and tactile — one bead at a time.
This is my first post on Reddit, and I'm happy to share more about the process and answer questions.
