We posted this thought on Threads earlier and wanted to share it here too, because it feels especially true with pocket cameras right now.

Everyone is comparing specs, leaks, new releases, and which camera is “the one” to wait for. Muse, Muse 2 Pro, Pocket 3, Luna, phones, bigger cameras… . There is always going to be another option coming.

But for everyday creators, the real question is usually much simpler:

Did you actually press records today?

Some of the best content online is still shot on an iPhone. Not because the iPhone is always the best camera, but because the creator had an idea, saw a moment, and actually captured it.

That is the part people sometimes forget.

Better gear can help. If you already use XTRA MUSE or Pocket 3 and you care about better image quality, low light, or a more polished shooting experience, waiting for MUSE 2 / MUSE 2 PRO makes sense.

But if you already have a camera in your pocket, whether that is MUSE, a phone, or anything else, you already have enough to start.

Great content usually comes from the idea behind the shot, what story you are trying to tell, and how you approach the gear you have. Not just from having the newest or fanciest setup.

That is also what we think about XTRA.

We want to give creators more options, not more anxiety. More ways to start, not more reasons to wait forever.

So if you are a small creator, traveler, filmmaker, parent, student, or just someone trying to document life a little more, start with whatever you have now.

The camera matters.

But the action matters more.
