Another concept for the Star Wars/For Honor spiritual successor idea showing how lightsaber types and forms would work (More info in the description)

Rather than having preset heroes with a specific weapon and fighting style, you'd create your own Jedi/Sith character and their fighting style would be based on your choice of lightsaber style and lightsaber form.

At launch, each saber type has access to three different forms. The examples shown are the double ended saber being able to access Soresu, Niman and Vaapad and the crossguard lightsaber being able to access Shii-Cho, Makashi and Shien/Dem So.

The lightsaber forms behave differently depending on the saber type they are being used with. For example, Makashi with a curved hilt lightsaber is different to Makashi with a crossguard lightsaber.

This means at launch there is a total of 15 different combat styles. Over time, new lightsaber forms would be available to unlock for the existing saber types as part of post-launch seasons.

For example, at launch the double ended lightsaber can use Soresu, Niman and Vaapad, but in say Season 3, players can unlock Ataru as new unique double ended lightsaber form, with its own unique gameplay, attack types, stances and so on.

By the game's 10th year, if every lightsaber style can use every lightsaber form, the total number of combat styles becomes 35.

As for the Mandalorian faction as shown in a previous post, they would be the equivalent of the Wu Lin faction in For Honor, brought in at a later date, with combat styles based on weapon choice: Beskar spear and energy shield, Dual vibroblades, Vibrosword and energy shield, Electrostaff, Beskar Crushgauntlets

This combined total would equal 40 combat styles across all factions. For Honor currently has 38 heroes, with two more releasing this year. So this total is entirely feasible across the game's theoretical lifespan.

Yeah it’s sad to see that even this guy is laughing at what is happening to Ubisoft rn, and I thought what if he bought the company and save it ??

It's ok to have a protagonist like this. Normal people see this as something normal part of real life. It's ok to also have different types of game protagonists

There's room for everybody

I'll say we sail back on the Jackdaw... And sink the resellers' ship...

In 3 days, the showcase for Resynced will be 1 month old, including the reveal of the limited "Collector Edition".

A Collection Edition sold out in less than 48h. On every websites and all platforms...

But who are most of the the lucky buyers how could get their hands on this beautiful collection ? A lot of Long time fans ? A lot of New fans maybe ?

NOPE ! NOTHING MORE THAN GREEDY... (sorry for the harsh language but hard to argue about it...) ...BASTARDS OR BOTS USED BY SAID BASTARDS !

So i'll say we fire the cannons (not literally, report them of course) on Ebay's and other website's similar sells and sink the market !

Let's fight their Greed and sink the price back to retail price !

Why is the extra content in AC Odyssey so intrusive?

So I got the urge to play AC Odyssey for the second time, but I find some of the features really annoying.

I already played the three parts of the Atlantis DLC on my first playthrough and I didn't like them. Especially Elysium was super tedious after the honeymoon phase with the art direction wore off. I don't want to play it again at all. Can I choose to not install it like one would reasonably expect? Nope, here's 30+ gigabytes of useless dead weight for your SSD, enjoy!

When I open the in-game map it shows me map icons for screenshots taken by random other players. Just...why? You can *temporarily* turn this feature off but it re-enables itself every single time the game is launched.

And the worst part, the "Rewards". These are all added to your game by default. Nothing immerses you in that greek epic atmosphere like having XIXth century London gang members running your ship or cosplaying as a guy from the Italian Renaissance, amirite? I would prefer to not have any of this extra inventory clutter. Not on my ship storage, not among my lieutenants, not in my transmog menu, not anywhere. Why can't I opt out?

Why does everything need to be so obnoxious and pushy?

Best story in Ubisoft games

For me AC Valhalla no 1. They create something akin to Viking Sagas with great modern twists.

Also The Division 1 with The New York Collapse book is pretty great interactive experience. The Division series as a whole so good and have insane worldbuilding details with greatest visuals in gaming history. But story is so weak. But with this book first game really shine, now have depth and mysteries and this is great for interactive experience.

What if Ellie's revenge worked like Niko's one from Gta 4 meaning she worked for people she met and only 1 in 10 missions have anything to do with the revenge plot?

Damn, Egypt in AC Origins is straight-up mind-blowing…

Guys, I’m completely hooked on these screenshots from Assassin's Creed Origins. You walk through these ancient underground halls, stare at massive statues of gods that feel like they’re watching you, and you realize — the Egypt in this game is just insanely well made.

For real, the atmosphere is so thick it gives you chills. It’s dark, quiet, only torches flickering and the echo of your footsteps… Like you’re the first person to step in here in thousands of years.

Looking at these pyramids makes me think: in real life there’s probably still a ton of stuff hidden under the sand.

Be honest with me:

Do you actually believe they built all this with just ropes and copper tools using slaves?

Or did the ancients know something we’ve lost?

What place in Origins gave you the strongest vibe?

Anyway, who else got addicted to this Egypt?
