Did anyone notice the new DLC packs added to The Crew 2 today? (Normal buyable cars for real money)

Hey everyone,

I noticed that The Crew 2 had a maintenance update today, and when checking the store page, I saw that a whole bunch of new DLC packs (like the American, Japanese, and European Summit Packs) were suddenly added.

On top of those individual packs, they also dropped a massive "Mega Car Pack" DLC that basically bundles all of them into one big everything-in-one package for real money.

I can't check the in-game shop to see if they are still normally buyable with Bucks, because I already own almost every single car in the game.

There are packs the include vehicles that you get for free in the game.

They didn't really announce this anywhere. Can anyone who doesn't own all cars check the in-game shop to confirm? And what do you guys think about them monetizing old, normally obtainable cars like this so late in the game's lifecycle?

Ghost breakpoint and new Generation ghost recon

🎮 My Wishes for Ghost Recon Breakpoint

I really hope that Ubisoft will consider adding full crossplay to future Ghost Recon games, so players on Xbox, PlayStation and PC can finally play together without platform restrictions. I believe this would make the Ghost Recon community much stronger and bring many more players together.

I would also absolutely love to see Ghost Recon Breakpoint receive a proper current-generation update. The game still looks fantastic and has so much potential, and I would really like to see 4K resolution and 60 FPS added on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5.

Breakpoint deserves another technical upgrade. A smoother 60 FPS experience, improved resolution and modern console enhancements would make an already great Ghost Recon experience feel amazing today.

Please consider supporting the older Ghost Recon games as well. Many players, including myself, still love Breakpoint and would be very happy to see it receive one more major update.

Crossplay + 4K + 60 FPS for Breakpoint would be absolutely fantastic! 🎖️🔥

Thank you, Ubisoft, for continuing to listen to the Ghost Recon community.

I played Unity for the first time after 12 years. Here are my thoughts

I recently finished Assassin's Creed Unity and I have such mixed feelings. I enjoyed my time with it, but I didn't love it because it was just so frustrating a lot of the time.

I played it on hardest difficulty and to make my life easier, I used a glitch to make myself invisible and make money on hardest heist to get best gear early on because any fight is a death sentence in this game with it’s clunky combat and i wanted to enjoy the co-op with high level players.

Anyway, here is my impressions:

The Positives:

To start with the good, Paris is absolutely beautiful even to this day. The atmosphere is so immersive, the landmarks are incredible, and playing it with French audio made it feel so authentic.

The parkour and assassination animations look amazing when they work, and the co-op missions tied to French history were a ton of fun.

The story was okay—not a masterpiece, and Elise’s death felt stupid and meant nothing to me. Never felt any connection to this character rather than babysitting her throughout the game.

The Game-Breaking Negatives:

The AI has wallhacks: Snipers can see you from two hundred miles away even if you're crouching. To make it worse, main Templar targets regularly spot you straight through solid cover or disguises right when you've set up the perfect assassination.

The building design is infuriating: Getting into or out of buildings is a total chore. There were so many times I finished an indoor objective and had to wander around the rooms for several minutes just trying to find a single open window or door to escape. It completely kills the momentum of being a slick assassin when you’re stuck inside a house looking for the exit like a trapped bird.

Missing basic mechanics: Whose brilliant idea was it to remove whistling, or picking up bodies? And why do i have to guess where is cover and where is not?

Inconsistent tools: Smoke bombs although very helpful in combat but are completely unreliable at breaking line of sight when used in stealth.

Pointless restrictions: Why does Eagle Vision have a cooldown? It serves no purpose other than to slow you down.

Clunky Parkour: Arno loves to stick to random places and moves with a delay that makes it feel sluggish. Trying to run down stairs usually ends up with Arno jumping on a railing and sitting there like an idiot while 3 guards point guns at you.

Interruption & Filler: The Animus malfunctions were just annoying interruptions. And the side quests? I didn’t do the detective quests but the rest are incredibly repetitive "go to A, do B" time-wasters. I played witcher 3 a few months ago for the first time and realized why people call it a masterpiece. I was never bored by a single conversation. Unity's side content just felt like filler. But i guess most or even all Ubisoft games are like this.

I give this game a 6/10. I’m now playing Origins for the first time. I let you know when i finished it.

Considering the Legacy Of The First Blade controversy, what do you think of this?

So, Shadows canon mode removes all the romances, making none of them canon... but there is a data file in Black Flag Resynced that confirms that Junko Maeda is a descendant of Naoe, implying that she had at least one child after the events of Shadows. Therefore, considering the controversy sparked by the DLC Legacy Of The First Blade, what do you think of this?

I honestly think that the next remake will be of the Ezio Trilogy, not AC1. (Possible spoilers for Hexe)

So, Black Flag Resynced has already estabilished that these games are not only remakes, but also new main games in which the modern day story continues. Now, let's consider the rumors about Ezio's return in Hexe. One rumor was about it happening because of Animus stuff. So, if Ezio's return in Hexe is actually part of the modern day storyline, I think the sequel of Hexe will be a remake of his trilogy, not AC1.

Breakpoint Love

I’m speaking for myself and anyone who loves the GAMEPLAY of Breakpoint. The people who don’t really care about a story but just love the addictive gameplay. We don’t ask for much :
Offline mode.
More customization for outfits, guns and characters.
A mission creator. (Think Hitman and creating a contract)
Adding more factions/ armies to interact with.
New content!

That’s all for now. I speak for those that love the game, still play it, and can’t wait for new content!!!!

I think the AC1 remake could solve Assassin's Creed's Modern Day problem

I've been thinking about the rumored AC1 remake and how Ubisoft could possibly do it without removing Desmond.

I honestly don't think you can properly remake AC1 without its Modern Day story. The whole game is built around Desmond being held captive by Abstergo and being forced to relive Altaïr's memories through the Animus. If you remove Desmond, you have to change the structure and even part of the meaning of the original.

But I think there could be a pretty simple solution.

What if someone in the current Modern Day is using the Animus to explore Desmond's memories?

For example, Basim.

After Valhalla, Basim is in the present day and has access to the Animus. Maybe he wants to understand what happened during all those years and how the Assassin-Templar conflict ended up in its current state.

So we'd basically have:

Present Day → Desmond in 2012 → Altaïr in 1191

We would still experience Desmond being kidnapped by Abstergo, his conversations with Lucy and Vidic, the Bleeding Effect, Subject 16, etc. And then Desmond himself enters the Animus and we experience Altaïr's memories just like in the original.

It would also give Ubisoft a natural way to finally continue Basim's Modern Day story after Valhalla, which was basically left hanging. Personally, I'd much rather see that story continue than have the Modern Day pushed into the far future and mostly presented through files and recordings.

And this idea doesn't have to end with AC1.

If Ubisoft eventually remakes AC2, Brotherhood, Revelations and AC3, the same concept could continue through the entire Desmond saga. Basim - or whoever the present-day character is - could slowly discover Desmond's entire journey, while we gradually learn why they are studying his memories in the first place.

So instead of replacing the old Modern Day, the remakes could basically have two Modern Day stories at once - preserving Desmond's story while using it to move the current story forward.

For me, Desmond's story isn't just an extra part of AC1 - it's one of the foundations of the game. Removing it would fundamentally change what AC1 is, and at that point I don't think you can really call it a faithful remake.

What do you guys think?

(English isn't my first language, so I asked ChatGPT to help me put all my thoughts together.)

Why does "Rainbow Six" only mean siege now?

Every time i hear someone say "Rainbow 6" they always just mean siege for some reason. Are all the other games really just that dead? There are really great R6 games out there other than Siege, yet people refuse to call Siege, well.. Siege.

Edward Death in future dlcs/sequel

Would you like to see Edward’s death in future dlcs/sequel ?

Edward is my favorite ac protagonist, one of my favorite in general. And I’m desperate to see his death on screen lol.

I get ubi doesn’t like to kill their protagonists for many reasons. Like in case of any future projects, and to also play it safe in terms of writing. Thats why most ac protagonists death are kept unknown.

But for Edward, we already know how and when he dies. So it doesn’t make any sense that an iconic character like him dies in a novel that most fans didn’t read. It doesn’t do him any justice.

Give him a proper farewell, and honor him to be the first ever main ac protagonist to die on screen. Ik that in the novel, Edward’s death is a little dumb. I won’t mind if ubi slightly change it to make it more emotional and make more sense.

And ubi, commercially this will break the internet and the ac community even if it was just a dlc.

Just don’t ruin things please, do proper cutscenes and great writing if this was ever to happen.

What do you guys think ?
