Does anyone else miss XDefiant?

Title sort of spells out the question but I just realize I catch myself thinking about XDefiant pretty often when I think of games I enjoyed but can't or don't play anymore. I don't know if it's controversial to say but I actually really liked it and got pretty into it when it started to spin up, but then when I found out they were canning it I stopped playing, and it's kind of hitting that I miss it a lot. I played the Yarans and Dedsec a lot and think I would've been genuinely excited to see where the game went if all the content was allowed to drop with the intended dev time put into it. It wasn't perfect but it lodged itself into my brain and heart with a surprising efficacy which clearly means it must've done something to warrant it, and I wonder if anyone else is ruminating on what could have been if it had kept going.

Tips on how to make a profit on Los Angeles?

Hey all, just wanted to say I’m relatively new to the game (bought it for release day on Steam but I’ve consumed content on it while it’s been an off-Steam game) and I’ve been trying to plan a system out, but I just feel like I don’t quite understand what I should be doing to get a system to turn a profit. I’m specifying that I’m on the Los Angeles map specifically because it might just be the case that it being a less dense map overall makes it much more difficult. If you need any information from me I can answer in comments.

Metro's current slate of projects makes me hopeful for the future of LA as a transit-using city.

I say this knowing I'm probably closer to delusional than correct, but I genuinely and earnestly think a lot of the projects Metro has coming down the pike are going to do a lot to make LA more accessible without a car. It might never be a perfect system, and I doubt it'll all be executed exactly how we all would want them to be. But, it feels good to have transit developments to actually look forward to. The D Line finishing alone is probably going to drive a meaningful increase in ridership, but just looking ahead to the Sepulveda Line project and the new light rail in the Southeast Gateway and in the SFV, or the multiple new BRT projects and proposed extensions to the K and E lines- I think Metro's actually going to mature into something that's comprehensive and useful to most people in the LA metropolitan area.

Places to buy some colored handkerchiefs?

At risk of being a little unaware, I'm looking to buy a few handkerchiefs because I've been getting into a little bit of the gay bar scene while I've been in town and wanted to pick a few up in a few colors for the sake of having some hanky-code stuff on me (on the off chance people still pay attention to that sort of stuff). Does anyone have any suggestions for good shops to support that might have stuff like that (and maybe some extra gear)? Preferably near public transit, in Valley Glen but I have the time and TAP money to get myself just about anywhere. But all the better if it's somewhere I can get to easily by the 154 bus or the B Line.

Would people prefer if Sam stopped appearing as a player?

I don't know if I'm just reading things with a harsh lens here but I feel like most people on the sub would genuinely prefer it if Sam wasn't a player on the show anymore. Is that an actual community sentiment or am I just not understanding what other people are actually saying? I feel like the show wouldn't be Jet Lag without Sam but it seems like everyone really dislikes him.
