E-mail issues with Ulefone Armor X16

Hi guys! A few months ago, I bought an Ulefone Armor X16 and since the beggining I'm having issues with e-mail apps. Gmail and Thunderbird, the apps I've been trying on, aren't working properly. Without battery optimization, locked on, and every stuff to try to receive the email and the notification doesn't work. Truth be told, I don't know what to do to receive email notifications and not open the app several times a day to see if I received something. Any advice?

Armor X32 Night Vision broken after Android 15 update

Device: Armor X32

Android 15

Build: GQ5021RH2_EEA_V12

Since updating to Android 15, the Night Vision camera is almost unusable.

The IR LEDs still turn on and Open Camera can still detect the separate night vision camera sensor.

However:

the image is no longer black and white;

it now has a strong purple/pink tint;

the night vision range is extremely short;

objects are visible only at very close distance (about 10-15 cm);

beyond about half a meter the image becomes almost completely dark.

I already tried:

clearing camera cache;

clearing camera data;

rebooting the phone.

Has anyone else experienced this issue on the Armor X32 after Android 15?

Just upgraded from Armor 24 to Armor 29 Ultra

What a brutal phone. I expected that i will get an upgrade in terms of a better SoC and camera, but man, that's not even the beginning.

I've been considering to replace my aging Armor 24 for months now, but i couldn't decide between the Armor 34, Doogee v max plus, or to wait for the new V Max 2. However, one day, my friend who imports rugged phones offered me this beast with a discount, and i accepted.

The first thing i noticed when i turned the 29 on is the AMOLED screen. The difference in quality between this and the older LCD is night and day.

The better SoC, the larger memory, the cameras, the overall build quality, the longer WiFi range, everything on this phone is flagship tier.

To those considering to buy this phone: you wont regret it. After using it for a couple weeks i will make a more detailed review.

Considering buying an armor 30 or 33

Recently I've been considering getting either the armor 30 or 33 just for the sake of having a cool/different phone. The only thing holding me back is the posts in here talking about how fragile the speakers, cameras and fingerprint readers are on those newer models.

I have two questions that I'd like answered:

  1. Are those problems a ulefone qc issue and bad parts being shipped or just users dropping it and having bad luck? Personally I don't usually drop phones and am still using a 2018 iphone as a secondary phone, it's in mint condition and the fingerprint reader works flawlessly. Am not going to commit on a phone that comes DOA tho.

  2. People usually say the loud speakers die every six months to a year, personally I only use the speakers for alarms and a podcast here and there while Im shaving my head, I'll never use it maxed out but would still enjoy a working speaker.

Lately I've been watching roopull's vídeos (another user here in the sub), his experience seems to be great and his vídeos are also good, I really want to get that armor 30 but am not going to commit to something that'll possibly waste my money.

Armor 24 updates

Just got a push update to the phone, haven't installed yet. I remember people having bugs with the updates a little while ago, have they been sorted?

Also, I'm still on android 14, this update doesn't seem to be a version update, should I track down 15?

Armor 20T automatic call recording

Hi everyone.

How do I enable automatic call recording for phone calls? It's legal in my country and I have the button to start recording during the calls and it's working as intended, but how to make it automatic so I don't have to press it every time? It works automatically on all my other phones

Thanks.

Need some support, if i should buy a phone from this brand

Hey!

Im looking at UleFone RugKing Black, because of the good price and internal storage capacity aand smaller screen (smaller than 6 inches).

What bugs menat the moment is, that i read about sparse (security) updates.

I want to buy a realitvely cheap one with long lasting updates, because i use my phones for 5+ years normally.

I appreciate your knowledge and experiences wit this brand and OS :)

Lucky Patcher

How's anyone experience with this program. I've known about it for years but wondering if anyone has lots of success with it. I'm just starting it up again and trying modifications on certain apps

This doesn't look good at all. Please check your phone's battery status as well.

There are two possibilities.

Ulefone's battery health information is inaccurate due to its dual battery technology.

Or maybe everything is right, where did I go wrong?

Armor 29 ultra

Hello everyone! I want to buy the ulefone armor 29 ultra, I had very good feedback on the ulefone but also a lot of problems, battery that did not hold as expected, display bug, freeze and restart phone

Have you ever had problems like these?

How long can I use the 29 ultra with a classic phone use before dropping to 0 battery?

Thank you in advance for your answers!

Well.. time for a new phone?

So after a year and a half of abuse my armor 24 dropped on the floor and the screen cleanly popped off and snapped the ribbon cable :/

Probably going to see if I can find a replacement screen but still thought it was kinda interesting, the phone is a tank though and put more dents in floors then on the phone lmao

Weird phone number attached to every photo?

Ok so a few months ago I got talked into buying a ulefone on amazon. decent price for storage capacity of an iphone.

It does well as a mini computer but it sucks as a phone IMO. In Canada. Reception on calls sucks everywhere, calls don't dial right away - like I hear no ring tone, silence and then someone saying hello hello hello after a minute as if they've been waiting to talk to me.

that's not the main issue

recently a friend started a group chat and uploaded a photo to me and 3 others (a mix of android and iphone, no ulefone users). I responded with a GIF. Then the original sender told me that suddenly there's a new number in the group chat, nobody recognized this number. It started after I uploaded a gif and photo. I called it and it was out of service. I googled it, nothing came up.

It then occurred to me that every time I'm in a group chat, if I upload a photo the same number gets associated with me and added to group chat.

I then realized that every single photo, when I click on it, has this phone number at the top. When I take a pic with my camera, it shows this number - it looks like a 7 digit phone number with a canadian area code, but again it's not an active number. I'm freaking out now because I cannot remove the number. I disabled watermarks on photos and it's still happening. And I've taken lots of photos of my kids and family and now notice they all have this number. Like WTF, are my photos going somewhere??? what is going on here???

I'm in the process of looking for a new phone. I know it costs 4x as much but I felt safer as an iphone or samsung user
