How to roll back to previous versions?

After dragging my feet because I didn't want more ai bloat on my phone I finally updated to make the notification go away and now I regret it to the point where my only options are rolling the phone back or throwing it always and getting something else.
I'm using an armor 17T Pro and for whatever reason the update keeps killing my VPN and disabling my network access whenever my phone is locked for a few minutes. My VPN forces my phone through my home network where I can screen 100% of my connections and is an integral, non-negotiable part of my device security.
It's a shame, this brand was adequate up until now but I'm not sure I'll be able to trust this company in the future given the recent quality of their updates.

How REALLY waterproof ist the RugOne Xever 7 Pro ?

Planning on taking my Xever 7 Pro on a hike that will involve wet conditions and river crossings, I am worried about the REAL waterproof capacity of the phone (for instance, the charging port isn't protected). Has anyone tested it under water ? Official website says up to 2 meters for 30 minutes but I am afraid to try

Anyone know a fix for this bug

Basically out of nowhere my phone just stopped being able to charge I have a ulefone armor 30 pro. I think because I updated the software because there was a software update that it might be some kind of software update handshake bug and that's what the AI was saying but I tried doing all the stuff the troubleshooting steps and it's still not working. Does anybody really know how to fix something like this. I had to go back to my old ulefone armor 12 pro I'm using it as a backup phone so I still have a phone but it's a serious downgrade and I can't even believe I paid $600 for that phone I've only had it for like a year or so.

As you can see I have it plugged in and it's unresponsive.

Storyville fullscreen ads on YouTube? Armor pad 5

I've started getting these popup ads on my ulephone armor pad 5 recently. Ive looked for hidden apps and ran a Malwarebytes scan to try and find it but so far had no luck whatsoever. Even ran appwatch but that doesn't catch it either. Currently these ads are only showing up while using the YouTube app for some time. I have YouTube premium so these shouldn't show up at all. Has anyone experienced something similar or knows how to permanently get rid of this?

Custom Key Can't Screenshot in Chrome or Brave

First: Sorry if this is covered elsewhere but I did search and didn't find anything.

Second: Ulefone Power Armor 19/Android 12/T-Mobile

I have had this phone since September of '23 and other than the rubber peeling off I've had no real problems with it, and it is still working as well as it ever has.

Recently though an issue has cropped up that is bugging me. It's a quality of life thing, not really a deal-breaker functional issue, but it is still something I'd like to remedy if at all possible.

I have always had the custom key set to take a screenshot on long press. Recently, however, the behavior has changed when I'm using Chrome or Brave. It takes a screenshot of a blank browser window, and then opens the Google Chrome Help page.

It first started doing this in Brave, but continued taking screenshots as usual in Chrome. Now it does the same thing in both browsers. I downloaded Opera tonight and, as of right now, the screenshot function operates as expected. However I won't be surprised if it quits working there too before long.

While I didn't try all of them, the other options for the custom key that I did check work fine in the browsers (turning on the flashlight, opening the thermometer, etc.)

I can't seem to find anything about a "help shortcut" for Google Chrome mobile, so I can't figure out where the conflict is coming in, unless it is some issue with the "don't screenshot this app" flag.

I don't think it's an issue with the phone. I think Google updated something and it is causing the conflict, but I figured other Ulefone users would be the best place to start asking around.

What do you think about armor mini 20 T pro?

Greetings,

I used Cat s61 in the past. Later used the ulefone armor 27t. The phone was so so. But the thermal camera had some issues like not showing proper colors, some times when you capture a thermal image, it doesn't show in the image saved in galary the same colors you captured.

The Cat s61 was better in this aspect but had its own issues.

Am thinking of a more compact phone so armor mini 20t comes to my mind but not sure how the performance of the phone in general would be and the thermal camera in particular.

Appreciating your insights and experience

Ulefone Armor Mini 5 review

My Ulefone Armor Mini 5 has arrived. I am sharing my experiences in case it helps others.

First of all, the original name of this phone is the Uniwa a2803. Uniwa is a contract manufacturer that sells this phone to anyone at a wholesale price of $38.

However, while the original phone comes with 3/32 GB [RAM/storage], Ulefone ordered their own version with a pathetically low 1/8 GB.

I don't understand the reasoning behind this; it makes the phone $5 cheaper at most, but it ended up being significantly worse. As a bonus, its camera is a bad joke and it comes with Bluetooth 2.1, even though the nine-year-old bottom-tier chipset could support Bluetooth 4.2 as well.

Its display? I never thought I would ever write this sentence, but the screen of a Nokia 230 dumbphone looks beautiful next to the Ulefone's, even though that one is also beneath criticism. (Despite them supposedly having the same resolution.) The text is pixelated, and everything looks ugly on it. On many websites you can't close the popup windows (f.i. ulefone.com) because of the resolution, so you can't visit those sites.

The screen brightness can "naturally" only be adjusted manually, but fortunately, this is easily done from the pull-down menu. The screen isn't very bright, but you can still just about see it in direct sunlight.

It doesn't have the Play Store, but you can install anything from an APK file. (I downloaded the APKPure app on it.) Also it supports only 4G. (Dual SIM plus Micro SD card, no e-sim.)

However, there is no point in putting an SD card in it; it will exclusively install everything to the internal memory, which is only 8 GB, and 61% of that is already taken up right out of the box by the stripped-down Android 11. I couldn't find any way to force it to use the SD card.

I don't know why it has a physical keyboard; it is only willing to type letters using the on-screen keyboard, while the physical keyboard types only numbers 99% of the time. They could have easily left it out; it just takes up space unnecessarily.

I was able to log into my account in the Chrome browser, so I can access my shopping list (keep.google.com), my calendar (calendar.google.com), and so on. But, for example, I can only open Family Link (familylink.google.com) if I restart the phone beforehand, because it says it has run out of memory and therefore cannot display the information. Seriously, Ulefone, 1 GB of RAM in 2026, just to save 5 dollars?

Naturally, everything is slow; you have to tap the close button at least five or six times before anything happens.

What's good: it feels sturdy, even though the whole thing is made of cheap plastic.

It seems to connect to the car's hands-free system without any issues. (A hurdle the Nokia can't even manage with Bluetooth 5.0.)

It has Wi-Fi and a hotspot feature, too.

The battery is only 2.500 mAh, but it seems enough, as you won't use this phone a lot.

Who is this good for?

Someone who wants to overcome their smartphone addiction but still needs a hotspot. You definitely won't be scrolling on this all day.

I think it's expensive for what it is, especially since downgrading it to 1/8 GB from the original 3/32 GB has pushed the device into the almost unusable category. I could live with this 1/8 GB, but the screen is so ugly as well, that altogether is too much for me.

Its size: it's not much smaller than a Samsung S23. Its weight is also barely less than that.

If anyone wants it, there is one for sale in Hungary. :)

Adjust screen sensitivity

I have an X31 Pro and it absolutely freaked out when it was raining. The screen was getting too many inputs.

It's on Android 14... is there a way to reduce screen sensitivity? I have already searched Google but the display sensitivity option doesn't seem to be on my phone. Many thanks.

Afraid to Update for Armor 28 Ultra Thermal

I don't want to brick my phone like so many others have experienced. Update came out April of 2025. I'm still running Android 14 because I've heard that this update will make many features non functional or worse. I am looking for opinions and experiences, thank you.

Armor Mini 20T Pro. WiFi Tethering issue

When I share internet from my phone, on another device (any device), the internet works for some time (5–10 minutes) and then stops working until I turn Wi‑Fi tethering off and back on again.

It feels like some kind of service “falls asleep” and forgets to wake up. At first I thought it was DuraSpeed acting up, but I removed that stuff via ADB - that didn’t help. Then I thought it might be related to network frequency, but switching between 5G/4G/3G settings didn’t make any difference. Disabling "Auto turn off HotSpot" doesn't do anything as well.

Does anyone have any suggestion how to fix or know any workaround?

Thanks.

Received update for Android 16 on 27T. Did someone take the chance to try it?

Everything in the title. I just received a notification about the availability of Android 16 for my 27T (first version) and before hitting the go, I wonder if others try it, since the recent update from Ulefone on the others phone was somewhat buggy.

Dual Bluetooth on armor 28 ultra

So I'm about a week and a half in on experiencing my armor 28 ultra. I'm kind of mixed on it right now I definitely need to completely replace the whole front loader it's terrible. The camera takes good pictures but the response on zoom and finding clarity is like 2005 flip phone level camera response.

The issue I'm having right now is I need to connect two sets of bluetooth headphones to it now this should be native to Android 15 but I cannot for the life of me find any menu or method of doing so and Gemini doesn't seem to be able to help me. I've tried to download third party apps but they're all for older versions of Android. No third party apps are supporting Android 15 or later for this feature being it's supposed to be native to Android 15. Is there some reason that this feature was hidden on these devices or removed from the os's ability. Can somebody help me. I have two sets of high quality Bluetooth headphones and me and my daughter want to watch a video and we're on vacation in a place where there's zero silence at night so watching the videos through the speakers on this phone is pretty useless because the speakers on the armor 28 are very disappointing also

Ulefone projector app

Loving the ulefone armor 34 pro but I wish the app had some other features like

1: picture in picture. So my screen can show one screen and the projector shows another. So for example. I could scroll social media while projector projects Netflix for my kids.

  1. Zoom or crop setting so if you only want to project a portion of your screen instead of the whole screen

  2. I know some don't like the Ai pet but I do so maybe the ability to just project widgets like the Ai pet.

  3. Projection mapping.

new mini phone?

I am really satisfied with the Armor Mini 20T Pro, although there were many software bugs that have already been patched.

I can't wait to see if they release a new model with upgraded specs. Have you heard any rumors about a new mini phone?
