100% in CELE and REELE

UPLB is back-to-back 100% in the REELE and CELE, and is the No. 1 top-performing school in the country! Huge kudos to the students, faculty, and the college. Deserve na deserve, especially given the effort to increase student capacity while maintaining excellence.

Im just curious, is the UP System giving CEAT the funding and support it deserves? Nababalitaan ko na may funding being given to laboratory/ies in another campus. If that’s the case, I hope UP also prioritizes funding colleges that are consistently excelling.

Also, the UP page still hasn’t posted the latest EELE results, nauna pa yung psychometrician. Curious why? May instance din noon na di sila nagpost sa isa pang profession, dahil ba wala yung gusto nilang school. 👀

Again, kudos to UPLB for raising the standards in both CELE and REELE. 🌻

[UPLB] Graduate School - MS MBB or MS Genetics

Hello po!

Manghihingi lang sana ng insights sa mga under MS MBB and MS Genetics. BS Biology - Major in Genetics po yung undergraduate degree ko, and I am planning to apply to UPLB - Graduate School for my Master's Degree.

Based on your experience po, are there any pre-requisites for taking MS MBB? How about for MS Genetics po? Also, baka may program details po kayo, like yung mga lessons na itatake para sa program? Parang hindi po kasi gumagana yung site for MS MBB.

And last na po, how's it like po studying MS MBB or MS Genetics? I really can't decide po kasi which to choose among the two.

[UPX] MOVE-UP Student Exchange Program

Hi! I applied for the UP System OIL Student Exchange Program for 2nd semester AY 2026–2027. Has anyone here gone through an exchange under this program before?

I wanted to ask about the timeline for the results. Did you usually receive your shortlist/nomination results before the MOVE-UP Financial Assistance deadline? The current FA deadline for my campus is October 15 (UPLB), and I'm wondering if there have been cases where the exchange results came out close to or even after the FA deadline.

Since the MOVE-UP FA requirements include the Letter of Acceptance from the host university, I'm also wondering how applicants handled it if their exchange/host-university acceptance was still pending when the FA deadline came around.

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has gone through this before! Thank you! :)
