Abandoned Yugoslav diesel motor railbus - Kraljevo, Serbia

Some photos I took around and inside the abandoned JŽ (today ŽS) series 812 diesel motor railbus near the Railway Station in Kraljevo, a city in central-western Serbia. These railbuses were first used in the 1950s and began domestic Yugoslav production in 1959. They officially stopped being used in 2016. This one still retains the old Yugoslav-era silver and blue paint, which nicknamed it the "Silver arrow".

Abandoned & Illegally ran Strip Club.

This club was paying their mayor off for years to keep their illegal operations running. Such as prostitution, running without the proper liquor licenses, and probably a whole lot more! The amount of kids toys I found in here was baffling.

Abandoned Hotel/Resort with a dark history..

This property was rebranded a few times. It originally operated as a Holiday Inn. On September 12th 1980, a couple was tragically murdered in room 260. in 2004, it was rebranded once again and turned into the waterpark resort/hotel you see now. It officially closed its doors in 2022 due to many health and safety violations. Some include black mold, poorly chlorinated pools, few to no lifeguards on duty at times, and many more. Employees complained of bounced paychecks, and residents of the hotel were left with nowhere to go after the power was shut off. Seems the owner fled to Florida and started a new business..

Abandoned Mall with children’s handprints on the wall.

This mall is in a severe state of decay, and has been for many years now. There are mushrooms growing from the cracks in the wall, and a spider frozen in time. (1975-2018)

Overgrown school with vehicles left behind.

This place is magical. In the winter it’s dreary, but in the summer it’s like a fairy garden!

saddest thing I've seen while urbexing

this was a letter left next to the original owners former bedroom. the owner died a few days after the date it was sent. (censoring names for privacy). he never got to open the letter...

I'll give you a real square of Earth for free, but only if you physically go stand on it first

https://www.tile.today/

Built this as a side project and now I genuinely can't tell if it's a brilliant idea or an elaborate way to get people to go outside for no reason.

Your first claim each day is free; €1 after that claims a real 50x50m square of land, permanently, but only if your GPS proves you're standing in it. You decide which category this falls into.

Edit: Global stats at https://www.tile.today/stats !
