1930s Black Hills photos - help identifying bike and year
Hello - I am looking for some help further identifying a motorcycle in the photographs below. The photos are labeled Black Hills hunting trip with motorcycle 1930s but my goal is to try to get a little closer to the exact year and also to determine the type/brand of the bike. The logos on the sidecar nose and the side of the motorcycle appear to be the same, but neither seem to be Harley Davidson or Indian of the time period. The bike does have a Minnesota license plate that might be 1939 but hard to tell with no color photography. It's a long shot but it would be very cool if these were in any way pictures related to an early Sturgis rally. I'd love thoughts from folks that really know this stuff because I am a little out of my depth.

My first road bike. Bought in 1984 when I was 16 years old.
Norton Commando 850
I missed all of last season in the UK due to an issue finding parts for my bike, but after speaking with the awesome guys at Norvil UK they get the parts required, out to me and they've been fitted this week and the Norton rolls on tarmac again. So happy to have her back.
How to install a 12 Volt outlet or USB on a vintage bike without it looking tacky?
I’m sure this has been asked before but I figured I’d ask here because I couldn’t really find what I wanted anywhere. I’m looking at either a vintage Honda CA77 Dream, either that or a CB450 Black Bomber. Yes, I know they are old bikes from the 60’s but these are fun weekend bikes, not my main mode of transportation.
That being said, I would like at least the option to mount my phone on the handlebars so I can use it for turn by turn navigation and media playback (since these 60’s bike doesn’t have a radio and I’m not getting a Goldwing from the 90’s).
The problem I have is a charging solution. How the heck am I supposed to hide the wiring for those “12 Volt Outlet” or “USB Hub” things I see on the internet. I get that I have to connect to the battery terminals, but I want to hide this thing so the bike doesn’t look like it’s got technology tacked on. I want it at least still look like a 60’s bike.
I guess I’ll have to live with a charging cable dangling unless I can hide that two. I just want the cleanest setup. I guess this question could apply to any bike from the 60’s to the 80’s. The “traditional” looking bikes.
I’ve done a massive amount of research and I still have not been able to come up with a solution. So I really am hoping people have advice. Because I want this to be as painless as possible.
Or, I get a Garmin Drive smart and route the charging to a saddle bag in the back of the bike. But then I’d have to charge the Garmin. And it would still look ugly.
Or I could get a Beeline Moto II just for directions, and then put my phone in a saddle bag and stop at a parking lot if I want to change from podcasts to YouTube music, and listen through one of those Bluetooth helmet intercom things. If you can’t tell, I’m still kind of new to motorcycles.
Before anyone says, “You want a Bike from the 60’s Honda?!?!? You should get this instead!”, I’m aware of the hassles and situations that will come with nearly 60 year old motorcycles. Again, just a fun thing for me, not my main mode of transportation, so if anyone would like to chime in with how they did it, especially if you got a 60’s Honda, Suzuki, or Yamaha I’d really love to know what you did.
Obviously needed a wedding day photo with my 1981 Yamaha RD350LC, right?
1963 Matchless G 80 CS
Hello! My dad painstakingly rebuilt this Matchless 1968 G 80 CS. It is way too fast so he smartly decided he shouldn’t ride it, much to our relief ! He does really want someone to enjoy this bike. I told him I’d gather some info. What do we have here, Reddit ? What can you tell me about this spicy treasure ? I can get more pictures if ya’ll are interested.

Help me find my father in a vintage Cycle Sport Magazine issue.
I am trying to find a photo of my father from 60-70 years ago. I want to be able to put it in his hands before his days are done, to give him back a piece of his youth he barely can remember.
My father that's going on 83 and is in good spirits but rough shape. Recently told me that he once appeared in an indi motorcycle racing magazine called "Cycle Sport Magazine" sometime in the 60's. According to him he was racing at a dirt track in Vermont and there was a photographer from the magazine taking photos of the racers, and his was the one they picked.
He said it was a single photo of him on his favorite motorcycle. He was wearing a leather jacket (thanks for the distinct description Dad, lol) and that both tires of his bike were off the ground. Underneath it was a blurb, but all he can remember was "Verne Adams from ______ Vermont". He can't remember what part of the decade it was, let alone what the exact year. So I'll say between 1958 and 1970. He tells stories about this era being a time before motorcycles were specially built for off-road dirt racing, so that rules out the 1970+ dirtbike era.
I asked Grok and all it found was a few issues on an archive site, but the PDF files were incomplete and cut off. I also reached out to multiple people on Ebay selling issues asking them if they could check their copies and that I would buy the issue if they have it. All that responded told me they didn't find it. The internet archive also didn't yield much for results. I'm hoping maybe someone here is, or knows, a person that collected these magazines and may have the issue with this photo.
What have I got here?
Hi, so I got this leather jacket as a gift. It’s too big for me and I am looking to sell it, I can’t find the brand anywhere but from what I found these snaps are rare as they’re made by an ammunition company from the same brass they make their amunition from. Anyone got any ideeas?
When you think you'll be the only one...
Then another awesome Norton shows up

1950s. My Dad and friend on BSA 500s in the Panama Canal Zone.
This picture was taken of my Dad (left) and his friend just before they left Panama to head back to the US. They rode through Central America and Mexico before splitting up in Texas. His friend headed to CA and my Dad to Baltimore, Maryland. Dad joined in for the Korean War a few months later.
