I love the PS Vita, so I decided to put in the work and port my game from PC to the Vita!
It was a lot of effort and I had to scale down some of the quality and physics, but I got it running!

My PS Vita isn't charging anymore, so I thought it would be a good time to replace the OG port with USB-C. I'm wondering what the best USB-C mod is. I found this one, but I'm in the USA and shipping cost twice as much as the mod lol.
I'm wanting to play The Warriors (PSP) which is visible in the online store but I don't have enough in my wallet. I don't have another Sony console available so If I buy the game on my PC will it appear in my downloads list? Just don't want to buy a game I can't play

so i decided to download a game on my vita through the vita itself and i thought the vita would download while in sleep mode. then good while later i tried to turn it on but it wouldnt odd since it had a good amount of battery left but either way i plugged into a charger and restarted it thinking the download being only around 3 gigs was already done. then to my surprise the download was paused. i tried resuming but the console crashed when i did that. then i tried to cancel and restart the download. it still crashed. now it seems to crash inevitably no matter what i do. after a few restarts it also started to display an error that it wasnt turned off properly then crashing very shortly afterwards. what do i do to fix this?
My AirPods Pro 2 connect and don't stream audio. The volume control works. My AirPods Pro one still work and this is the Vita 2000
Wherever it came from, is it worth tearing this console apart again to put it back?

I bought a new in box English PS Vita yesterday as a treat for myself for my upcoming high school gradation. I've never owned a Vita before so I'm really excited to start using it but I feel like there are things about the Vita that I don't know that I should be aware of. I already know that the digital shop isn't working anymore so I need to get physical copies of the games. What else should I know about the Vita?
Did you know that a single year ago you could get a new oled screen for PSV for only 12-16€ and a psv 1000 joysticks for 25€ each, but now a screen costs 30-45€ and a 1000 joystick for 40€
As of today, it no longer turns on. It'd been having battery issues for the past few years now so I'm not surprised. Don't feel like trying to put a new battery in, and I got enough years of use out of it anyways.
My parents got me this one as a birthday gift in 2012, it was the first console I begged my parents to get for me. I played the HELL out of this thing, a ton of PS All Stars, NFS Most Wanted, Killzone Mercenary, etc. Plus later on a bunch of indie games like Papers Please, Don't Starve and Minecraft, PS1 Classics like WipeOut, and various PSP games. This thing was what got me through my late childhood and “tween” years. Plus besides gaming, it had been my go-to MP3 player, web browser, YouTube and Facebook device. Basically, I put hundreds of hours into this gizmo lol.
It sucks, but life goes on. Thanks for the memories, Vita.
Portability is the biggest factor for me and the improved ergonomics and non-proprietary charger make it a portable handheld I can conveniently take with me anywhere.
Been using mine for 10yrs now, still going strong. I've never stopped loving this thing!

I replaced the screen on my PS Vita using a replacement I bought from AliExpress, but after putting everything back together, the back cover doesn’t seem to align correctly with the front body/screen assembly. I tried fitting it in multiple ways, but there’s still a noticeable gap.
I’m not sure what I might be doing wrong here. Has anyone experienced a problem like this before?

i would do it myself but I am incapable of doing it currently due to Dyspraxia. I'm practicing but itll be a while before I can even attempt something like this.
So I discovered a dead pixel on my vita, really sad. I have only had it for a couple months and haven't really gotten to play as I was modding it. I was looking for a replacement screen as I know its gonna spead, but all the screens on Aliexpess are like 45€ which is insane as when I got it I was also looking at new screens and they where like 25€, but I read that some of them were faulty and didn't work well. Wanted to know from someone who has bought a replacement if how the screens are, the posts on reddit are pretty mixed. Also most of the listings on Aliexpress say LCD, I assume that is just random a description as I'm pretty sure you cant just put a LSC screen on a oled device. Also does it matter which exact 1000 model I have?
Edit: One more question, are there any OEM replacements or all they mostly originals, because I wouldn't really trust a remake.
