recommend some splitscreen/single device offline multiplayer games

I'm going on a road trip with some friends. None of them have a vita tho, so im looking for multiplayer games we can play together while on a single psvita.

What I've found so far:
* Ape Academy 2(PSP)
* Puyo Puyo 20th Anniversary(PSP)
* Warioware (gba)

bonus points if it's games where 2 players play at the same time rather than turnbased games like worms, chess, monopoly, or advance wars.

how to GBA multiplayer from different PCs in diffrent locations?

Want to play co-op GBA games with my friends from different PCs from different locations(not local wifi co-op).

Im wondering if this is even possible. And if so, how? The tutorials I find online so far are just for PC split screen or local wifi co-op. But my friends and I live far apart so that's obviously not possible.

how does the rg 34xxsp aspect rstio behave when connected to a standard tv?

does it switch to the standard 16:9 resolution without stretching or filling? or will it stay as 3:2 ratio with black bars on the side?

i used to own a 35xxsp back then. and i remember, when it was displayed on a tv, the home ui would actually scale properly. BUT, for games, it would just stretch the image to 16:9. so you'd have to do some shenanigans in the retroarch settings and set it to 1:1 so it looks normal when stretched.

asking because im thinking of buying either a 34xxsp or the upcoming rg sp. would suck if it still had this issue, might not buy it then.

which of these two sd cards should i use for the deck?

the samsung evo plus was what i bought initially for my deck. the sandisk extreme is what came with the second hand nintendo switch i bought last year. not sure what to pick since both seem to have the same info/specs written on them.

EDIT: thank you for the answers (and the amusing comments😭) everyone! im surprised this blew up when i already marked the post as answered after the fist 8 comments, but people just kept commenting haha. apologies if the answer is a bit obvious, but idk much about sd cards and i was wondering if one brand was more reliable than the other. turns out it really is just the same lol. anyways, thanks again for the answers.

controller style stuck in odin mode, help

Help with my odin 2 mini. Even when my controller style is set to Xbox mode, it still acts as if it's in Odin mode.

I tried changing it through the odin settings. I tried changing it through the tile, turning the console on and off, restarting it multiple times, downloading an old unofficial old odin tools app, clearing the cache and data of the odin settings in the apps section. Nothing worked. My last option is factory reset, but i dont wanna do that since it's gonna be a pain to set up my device all over again :/

I dont remember what caused this. I think its because i fell asleep and accidentally drained the battery to 0%? And now this glitch happened.

Also, the floating icon doesn't work. It's turned on, but i dont see the floating icon anywhere.

How to prevent Arknights Endfield from constantly crashing (odin 2 mini)

This is specifically for the device I have (Odin 2 mini base 8gb ram model). But I heard some other snapdragon8gen2 devices have this issue too, so this solution might also work.

PROBLEM: This is for those who have an issue where the game is constantly crashing. Sometimes every 15 minutes, sometimes every 5 minutes (even if you're just on the ship, not even teleporting). And maybe you always get this error message: "Something went wrong. Check that Google play is enabled on your device and that you're using an up to date version before opening the app. If the problem perists, please try reinstalling the app."

TLDR, SOLUTION: just uninstall all the updates from google playstore. (aka: just go to the homescreen, long press google play store, press uninstall. but dont disable the app because Endfield requires google play to be enabled.) that's it.

If the game doesnt launch and says it requires you to "get the app from google playstore", just uninstall the updates from google playstore again, because it probably updated itself.

REASONING: If you check the device certification on your google playstore somewhere in its settings, you'll see that the device is not certified and it is unable to fix the issue. So i simply uninstalled the updates because the earlier version of google playstore did not require this device certification thing. (And yes, I already tried to register google services in the odin settings, that did not work.)

Lastly, please do note that the version of my google play store without updates is v28.3.16-21, since im on android 13. If your version is higher than that even after uninstalling updates, perhaps you could try looking up on how to downgrade your google play app to an older version.

Yapping / how i got to this conclusion:

Like i said earlier, the game would constantly crash every few minutes. It was not an enjoyable experience. I tried different fan/performance settings, reinstalling, factory resetting, enabling/disabling the 4gb ram extension, disabling zram, and etc. Nothing worked, game kept crashing. I also tried deleting google play store, disabling all google play services running in the background by using an app that reauires root(servicely), and removed endfield's requirement to have google playstore enabled(lucky patcher). For a few launches, this fix worked for me. But after a while, it would go back and crash every 10-15 mins.

After all that, I eventually found the solution mentioned above.

The only annoying issue is that google play store will always try to keep updating itself in the background. And so i always have to uninstall updates from it before i start the game. I have tried to restrict its battery usage and disabled it to modify system settings, but it somehow keeps turning these things back on by itself. Istg, it's like an unkillable virus, so friggin annoying. There's probably a way to prevent google play from updating itself, but i cant be bothered to fogure it out roght now. It took so much energy and sanity from a normie like me to finally find a fix for this.

In summary, screw google for creating new ways to try and lock down devices and lock people out from some apps if their device isnt officially on google's support list. And screw HG/Endfield for going along with it by enforcing the requirement to have google play enabled in order to run the game kn android. Hoyo games like Genshin and ZZZ dont have these requirements. Heck, they dont even require google play, you could just download em from somewhere else like qooapp or apkpure.

Whoever is still reading this, i hope the fix worked out for you.
