Wound of 6+ months getting worse and a lump..

Hi there. I feel absolutely awful posting here. I spent the last hour reading so many stories and I just feel so bad as a person who is just here unable to sleep, and it could be just nothing. I am so sorry to every single one of you going through this or has a loved one going through this or who went through this.

I am very worried and am wondering if anyone had similar signs and if it looked the same.

I can't even recall when this started, at least 6 months ago - a year, but I had what felt like a small tear or cut at the bottom end of my vulva, kind of slightly below my vaginal opening but closer to the crease between my vulva and inner thigh.

It's hard to explain, but over the last few months it's become extremely noticeable, hard, raised, and so painful to where it burns to pee and every time I'm just sitting on the toilet.

Wiping has become something I absolutely dread, because I'm unable to do so without touching it and when I do it hurts so much. It's like in winter when your skin gets so dry and sometimes your fingers get cracks in them and you do everything to heal them, but then you accidentally hit your thumb opening the fridge and undo all of your healing instantly.

Tonight I finally decided to just take a mirror to it and I was extremely alarmed. It did not look like what I thought it would. It is like a slight raised skin colored bump, with a hole or a small cut in the middle of it? But then when I stretch it, it looks torn? I assumed it would look like a scabbed over paper cut that is unhealed, so I am extremely alarmed. The bump is only surface level and does not feel deep at all.

I'm worried it could be a vulvar lesion or ulcer.. or I've just been nonstop irritating it for months now due to where it is. It is impossible to wipe or clean myself without touching it. It also feels itchy at times if I do touch it and it becomes like a mosquito bite where it's that good painful scratch, but then you are suffering minutes later and made it worse.

I also have a small lump, maybe 1/2 pea size in my right labia. No pain or anything and has not changed in size. I actually forgot about it until tonight.

I know I should be booking an appointment with a doctor, but I currently do not have one, nor insurance. Small business owner and I just can't swing it right now.

35 with endometriosis. History of ovarian cysts. I have never had an STI. I am not sexually active and was not during the time I first noticed this.

Thanks you so, so much ahead of time.

I am posting pictures in the comments because I don't know what is allowed here. It is NSFW 🔞.. I appreciate anyone who has read this. I'm just so worried with both this not healing for so many months and then the small lump in my labia.

36 year old with aggressive vulvar cancer seeking recommendations and support

Hi everyone, I’m writing on behalf of my sister. She is 36 and has been undergoing treatment for vulvar cancer over the last two years. Started with partial vulvectomy and lymph node removal surgery. Then a round of chemo and radiation, another chemo, and now another chemo.

Today they essentially told her the treatment isn’t working and it’s too aggressive. What else can we do? I refuse to accept that’s it. She’s young and it feels like we caught it early so this shouldn’t be happening. We have been talking to MD Anderson for a while but are going out for an in person visit this month. Really hoping they have some new ideas.

We are open to anything and I would greatly appreciate any ideas or suggestions.

Experiencing symptoms and noticed a spot

For a few months I've been experiencing itching that I've chalked up to be yeast infection or something. Well, abt 3 weeks ago when I was in the shower washing i felt a sharp pain when I touched a certain spot. I've noticed it gradually getting worse with a knot under in the skin. I've now noticed an actual spot i can see. Im going to put a pic in the comments to see if this looks like what anyone else has experienced. I plan to call gyno in the morning to see how soon I can get in.
