Wanderer´s ways modlist

Hi,

I've seen this modlist and tried it out for a couple of hours and I really like it. Does anyone have any feedback on how it performs in a long game or any other suggestions?

Thanks a lot!!

Best Skyrim modlist for a mage playthrough that requires average size

This is my 2nd day of researching about modded Skyrim, and oh boy I never knew I needed that much storage space.

I want to find modlists with a bunch of magic-related mods. Based on my research, Apocalypse and Triumvirate are the core for any modlist that seriously focuses on magic (I could be wrong)

So Tomes of Talos and ElderTeej seem to fit the bill here, but why do they have a +400GB installation size requirement? I don't care about Requiem, but at this point I can't be picky as long as it's not >300GB.

Modlist's with difficult endgame

I have played a few known lists by now but only modlists I played troughly are GTS and Lorerim 3.1

GTS's level scaling is a bit weird imo, Legendary Dragons and poison mage mfs are very challanging but otherwise most enemies are easy enough to handle. I feel like part reason for that is vanilla+ combat + very high stamina regen you can have. You can just bash, dodge and power attack an enemy one sidedly.

Otherwise I think it'a a challenging enough list, I yet to kill any major boss other than dragon priests tough.

I have played Lorerim 3.1 extensively by now and after the 30 level mark difficulty starts to become a joke. I like requiem, it makes the world more grounded for me but when there is this much content, its difficult to do all the quests in challanging order.

I think both of the list are on the difficult especially at start but I want a more challanging endgame. I heard Lorerim 5.0 is more balanced in that way, might give it a shot.

Skyrim Screen fix

Greetings, I previously played the Alpyne mod pack on a large screen and now I want to continue playing on a smaller screen, but no matter what I do, I can't fix this screen distortion issue. What do you suggest?

u/EkmekTeknesi — 22 hours ago

Starting Nordic Souls, loving the sheer amount of extra content so far, but thought I should ask for some pointers as to what I should tweak before getting deep into it. Totally missed the trait selection until a few hours in, and wondering if there's anything else like that?

Lorerim render distance troubles

Hey guys, so after years I decided to try modded skyrim and thought it would be pretty easy with wabbajack but after doing whole install process twice I have the same issue, not sure if its corrupt, mod conflict or about changing bethini setting but I wouldnt want to touch anything to make it worse. Havent found any help for this version so I hope I will find the answer here.

Trees will disapear when too close, city walls opposite.

I saw some solutions with texgen and dyndolod or xlodgen but I really dont want to spend more hours doing stg for non or worse result. Its been 3 days of stress, I'd like to spend a bit of vacation actually playing it. ;-;

Havent touched/ added any mod only switched to default profile.

Version: 5.0.4.1

PC: RX7600 8GB, 5800x3d, 32GB

Lorerim Enchanting: Fortify Health or Armour Rating?

First of all, I asked the discord and got no response.. :(

Right now I'm lvl 46 and have the most important perks in Heavy Armour and Enchanting, yet Dragons and other mini bosses still manage to one hit me if I stand close. Right now I have 200 base health. Enchanting certain items give either armour rating of 229 or Health bonus of 76. What will be the best for my situation? Thanks in advance!

[Lorerim] Healing spells heal 0 health

I started a new Lorerim 5.0 run and encountered a possible bug.

All healing spells, won't heal me or my followers.

Here some informations:

  • I'm playing as a Breton
  • currently level 2
  • with 25 in Restoration
  • and the first two Restoration Perks unlocked.
  • I'm not a Vampire, Lich, Werewolf, etc.
  • No negative effects shown in the Magic section besides the negative from a Trait

In terms of Traits, I choosen the one where I get more Magica the more Books I read and increasing my enchantments for the cost of armor and weapon damage. (Don't know the names of the Traits, my apologies).

Has anybody encountered the same problem?

Im going to start a new plathrough and was hoping to get some opinions on mod packs

I’m mostly crossed between times of talos and tuxborn and was hoping to get some opinions on which is better

Tuxborn vs. ElderTeej?

As the title suggests, I'm trying to decide between the two modlists. Was looking for something with LOTD and power fantasy and lots of content (while also running on a mid-range laptop and not taking up too much storage). Does anyone have comments on which they prefer between the two?

Also, ElderTeej seems more performance intensive and I genuinely cannot find how much storage space it takes so could someone could let me know. Thanks!

Wabbajack List with Community Shaders and lots of Content

First of all forgive my noobish question and my picky interests when it comes to mods. Coming from NolvusV6 and finding out about the progress CS made these past months I'm thinking about starting a new playthrough. However I have no clue about what list will be closest to what I like.

Things I liked about NolvusV6:

- The massive amount of armor, spells, weapons, enemies and quests. Cloak physics etc

- Graphical overhaul and dense forests and areas

- Seasons (I know most lists don't have that)

- Gore, dismemberment and new animations like potion drinking, parkour

What I disliked:

- Difficulty. As in 20 enemies nearly undefeatable at once

- First person combat a bit janky

Is there a CS list that has most of this (I guess I could live without seasons but I love really dense, realistic and lush forests)?

And what if there is a new CS version, do I have to wait for the author to update the list or is it possible to upgrade CS only?

Are there any standout modpack recommendations if I don't have 600 gigs of space for a lorerim install?

Was interested in trying out a modlist for skyrim since I heard wabbajack can simplify the setup. Was astonished to see the 600 gigs required to install LoreRim... can anyone recommend something that is not outdated and a little bit lighter on the size? I don't have a preference for combat focus vs. roleplay focus as I have yet to play much of any modded skyrim. What I want is just something that takes Skyrim and evolves it. Makes it beautiful, changes, adds new weapons or enemies, enhances or overhauls combat. Just something more than just Skyrim. I have a nice PC with 4070 super and an i7 and 32 gigs of ram. What I don't have is 600 gigs of free space.

Eldergleam door glitch

Hi, having trouble with the eldergleam modpack since it has a glitch where the doors are replaced with just bricks or wood and cant be interacted with. Most of them are the houses outside Whiterun. Some items are also missing and floating. Any fix or solution for this?

Edit: Fixed it after reinstalling the whole game

Lorerim Beds Broken

In the beginning every once in a while beds or bedrolls would be broken and I couldn’t interact with them but I got around that by using inns and the whiterun companion guild area. Now not even those will work. Says I can use them but nothing when trying to interact with it. I was having zero issues with this mod pack until recently. Randomly crashing every 15 minutes and the beds broken. I can’t even level up anymore and the wait button T seems broken now too. Don’t really know what to do, might uninstall and use Novrus or whatever it’s called.

Wildlander or Gate to Sovngarde

I know the lists aren't directly comparable, but I’m asking players experienced with *Wildlander* and *Gate to Sovngarde*: which one would you recommend for a stable, very long, and difficult playthrough? I’ve read about and tested both lists but can't decide which to use.

I’ve played lists both with and without *Requiem*, but I find the game gets too easy at high levels.

I’ve tried other lists too, but I prefer "vanilla-style" menus and music.

My GPU is a 4080 Super.

In LoreRim 5.0 how do avoid this nonsense with my companions? Is this intentional?

I see there's an option to manage my companions outfits but as soon as I do that and chose to trade items so I don't get over incumbered the companion just switches to whatever gear has the best stats regardless of whether or not they're actually skilled in that weapon. They also start physically wearing a bunch of those loot weapons. Is there a way to stop them from doing so or at least an alternate solution to loot carrying?

Skyrim lists with lots of city and town overhauls?

I absolutely adore city and town overhauls, and how much more interesting they make a lot of the core experience of the game. I tried out Skyrim Unification Project, and while it delivered in that regard, the list had absolutely horrendous performance (even in the wilds) even with solid hardware.

I guess my question is that if there's a list that runs like Nordic Souls but has a lot more going on in the city and town overhaul department.
