10 mm miniatures

Hi there, just a quick question, but where can I find good 10 mm minis? I see Forest Dragon has got nice designs, anyone else I should look for? Also, as I don't have a 3D printer, which sellers are trustworthy, and deliver to Europe?

Some Custom Heroes I Made

Everybody seems to be using the same few sculptors (for good reason, their models are awesome), but I wanted to try making some of my own. I'm working on infantry but here is my first batch of leaders.

Making Warhammer but have NEVER Played

(Yes, I posted this in the Warhammer40k sub so sorry if you’re seeing this twice D:)

So it’s my little bro’s birthday and I wanted to make a game for him like we did when we were kids. I’ve always LOVED the idea of Warhammer but thought it‘d be too time-consuming to start (here I am making the whole thing from scratch :P).

So anyway, I’m making it now but do not know what the rules are, and obviously I could just read the manual but I’m not trying to make a 1:1 copy, just something similar. The point is:

TL;DR: What mechanics from Warhammer (or similar games) are your favourites so I can steal them and add them to my own games?

Btw if you have army-theme ideas besides “villagers” comment them PLEASE

WIP on my first warmaster minis (Forrest Dragon’s Bretonnian bowmen)

How am I doing? I’m very nervous about the embossed heraldry going forward. Think I did ok on this first banner, but the Forrest Dragon design in these Bretonnians has a lot of lions ahead, seems more complicated 😅

Tower progress

Letting this lot dry tonight, then finish off tomorrow. It makes me want to make a bigger one though...

Wizard tower

I'm building a tower, it might be a bit small, but it's good practice.

Purchasing Warmaster and Warmaster Ancient Miniatures

Hello, everyone!

I recently went back to my parents’ house and was thrilled to find the Warmaster rulebook I’d bought when I was a teenager. I also found my painting supplies and realized just how much I’d missed this world. So I brought the rulebook with me, determined to build a new army (or new armies) and paint some miniatures. However, it’s been 20 years since I last set foot in the world of wargames, and I’m a little lost.

My question is very simple: where can I buy miniatures (keeping in mind that I live in Canada)?

I’d like to build a High Elf army, but I’m also considering getting into Warmaster Ancient. Any suggestions for websites?

Dire Wolves

First couple of units for my vampire counts are finished. May add more to the bases but not sure if they need it.

Who's got a nasty list for me to work to?

Edit. One of my opponents is apparently spying on me so just DM me the nasty lists! 🤫🤫

How do you base?

Hi all

Briefly dabnled in Warmaster a few years ago but petered out, in some part dur to getting frustrated with basing!

I see tons of very well based models around but I have no idea how, when assembling two painted strips on a base, you get basing material and grass in those tight spaces.

There must be a trick, an assembly order, or something obvious I’m missing - please enlighten me!

Finished houses

This is the conclusion of my roof build thread. You can see the difference in print size here, two lowers are scratch built and the other two roofs are. These will make the start of a nice little village.
