WatchOS 27 not supported and it doesn’t bother me.

This might be an unpopular opinion, but why are people making such a big deal out of the situation that the new major software release will not support their devices anymore? It’s not like the devices will be bricked after this autumn.

Yes, I will probably not benefit from upcoming new features within the next minor releases (this and seeing that the upcoming major release hasn’t anything jaw dropping either) but to be honest besides new watch faces I haven’t really experienced any major improvements over the past 3 1/2 years with my Apple Apple Watch ultra original.

I will patiently wait until my watch really gives me a reason to switch to a new model. Until then, I will use it as I did before, an every day casual device.

Will Apple Watch on watchOS26 work with iPhone on iOS27?

I have an Apple Watch 8 which isn’t supported any longer, will it work with my iPhone 17 on iOS27 or do I have to buy a new watch?

Missing notifications on watch after iOS 26.5

Hello, did someone hit issue, when sometimes notifications are displayed on phone, but not on watch? And it’s completely random. Let’s say that one app throw notification to phone and it shows on Apple Watch, but then after for example one hour new notification from same app is only on iPhone and Apple Watch didn’t show neither red dot or notification. After swipe down - no notification even if on iOS it’s still visible. Why I’m posting it here it’s because it started with iOS 26.5 Dev Beta and it’s not fixed even in released latest iOS 26.5. Any help appreciated. Thanks.
