A long-awaited WebKit exploit has finally been released for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, giving the homebrew community a new browser entry point to work with. While it doesn't immediately bring a jailbreak to the latest firmware versions, it significantly expands the range of systems that can potentially benefit from browser-based exploitation.

AltStore PAL's expansion into Brazil marks the third major regional launch for the alternative iOS marketplace. AltStore PAL became available in the EU after Apple implemented changes required by the Digital Markets Act. New BootROM exploit released: usbliter8

Hackers achieved SecureROM compromise on Apple A12 and A13 devices using an unpatchable hardware vulnerability in the USB controller.

Affected devices include:

• iPhone XS / XS Max
• iPhone XR
• iPhone 11
• iPhone 11 Pro
• iPhone 11 Pro Max

Unlike software bugs, BootROM flaws live in the chip itself and cannot be fixed by iOS updates.

Apple has released Safari Technology Preview 246, bringing another large set of WebKit changes for users testing the next generation of Safari on macOS. The update is available for macOS Golden Gate and macOS Tahoe, with existing users able to install it through System Settings under General, then Software Update.

A new iPhone Fold dummy unit has surfaced, showing what could be Apple's outer display and large internal folding screen.

A set of newly shared images is giving Apple fans a rare look at what the iPhone 9 might have looked like if the company had gone through with the project.

The photos were published by leaker Majin Bu, who claims the device entered pre-production in May 2017 before Apple ultimately canceled it.

Here’s an example of how that could matter in the real world.

Imagine somebody is using a modified iPhone with GPS spoofing enabled while testing cloned payment cards or stolen credentials. The phone pretends it’s physically located in another country while the NFC transaction is happening.
