Watermills - mold expert recommendations?

Watermills - mold expert recommendations?

Watermills never finished the ceilings so we can see the moldy wood they used. Is this safe? It is the ceiling above my shower, freaks me out when I take long hot showers. Notice shallow breathing unless I keep the doors opened. Any suggestions of an expert to test this and is this actually really bad to be breathing in? The units get very dusty because they never finished the ceilings, thinking about all that we are breathing in too.

Good apartment reviews?

Are there ANY good/recommended apartment complexes? My daughter is moving from out of state for school in August. We visited last month and toured several buildings which we liked. (Elan Union, Gables Arsenal, 1550 on the Charles, and the Lofts). I know there are houses and private rentals too, but for a single young woman living alone in a new area I feel better with a secured building at least initially. Also from out of state, it seems daunting to find and research those options without having to wait to the last minute. We’re hoping to secure something soon. We liked Watertown and are open to any apartments in this area. She doesn’t need tons of amenities, but I’d like clean, safe, and rodent-free, with decent management!! The Loft seemed like a good fit with slightly lower rents, but I’ve since learned the their “construction” is actually repairing faulty buildings and we’ve crossed them off the list. TODAY I opened this forum and saw a huge warning about Watermills being mouse infested, dirty, leaking, etc….she just applied for one there two days ago!! So back to square one. Trying to stay as close to 3K as possible. Any insight (good or bad) to any of the above properties, or Watertown Mews, 166 Main, River Birch, or Modera Newton? Anywhere else I’m missing?

Watermills

DON’T MOVE HERE

Charlesgate is a useless satellite management company. Recycle bins filled with trash. Mice everywhere. Moldy, stinky lobby carpet… lobby is also connected to the trash room, only entrance to 330 and the garage. Start and end your day walking through a trash room filled with mold. Pictured, the entrance and the trash room. Garage door is to the left.

Why doesn’t the market stock the shelves? The restaurant has had a coming soon sign for over two years now.

Anyone else got anything to share about this place?

Mass firing at Watertown schools

Hey just came here to let everyone know, a large number of teaching staff at Hosmer elementary were fired this morning due to poor budgeting.

There was already a (literally illegally) low number of staff. So prepare accordingly ~

Police at shake shack

I went to shake shack at arsenal yards around 7:20 last night and there was a huge police presence, about 8 cops. I tried to listen in on their interview of another patron and the general manager but couldn’t really gather what had happened. Was anyone there?
