To start, I absolutely love sonic, usually. I haven't been to ours in a bit due to travel for work, family, and just not having the time.

Generally it was pretty ok. Tonight, wtf? The bathroom was overflowing with green sludge from the toilet, the staff were ignoring customers, playing on phones with their gloves on, and the back of house was a nightmare.

Has it always been this bad and I've just been wearing rose colored glasses or what?

With the weather being so hot this week, I'm looking for a place to take a dip and swim. Salmon River (by the falls) has crossed my mind, but I've never actually been. I want to check first if swimming there is normal. I also don't want to be in the way or disrespectful to fishermen/women. I have no idea if it's fishing season or not!

Would appreciate regular users letting me know if swimming there would be inappropriate. Thanks.

Just an FYI: This weekend (June 27th and 28th) you do not need a fishing license in order to fish. You of course still have to follow the regulations. If you have any questions feel free to ask here or at r/FishingNY.

Okay, I get it.You're going to suggest that there is a chess club in watertown. But I am talking about recreational players. In order to be a member of that chess club, you need to have a FIDE rating. I used to have a FIDE rating, but it gets expensive trying to hold that up.If you're not going to be one hundred percent invested in chess to the point where you're trying to make money. Just looking for locals who like to play every now and then. Maybe at a park or something.
